US market muted reponse to 85 billion cut to budget, gaining 35 after obama signed on cut. Guess another non event that is being played by market to make it look like doomday senario. NOL might rebound next week as last friday controlled buying compared to tue-thur low volume. That is the market, always playing on global event to hunt down retail players who buy/short. | ||||

Singapore stock market worse performer in asia. Everyone up by 1-2.5% but STI only up by a bit. This might due to STI component stocks consist of too many defensive plays which is over valued, cannot go up any higher even if there is lot of money flowing. Other markets such as hang seng, shanghai composite, korean, nikki all up by a lot today as their component indice more balanced got growth + defensive. IHH that replaced NOL got ridculous low volume done everyday, NOL volume more than IHH 5 times everyday. When US market tank, STI follow but when rally STI muted response. Guess gona be away from market till mid march when nol stock would get interesting again due to positive 1Q13 expectation by market due to NOL building sale profit. Chance for nol investors to clear ur stock if u need to unload. By the way just for info, there is major GRI for europe and transpacifc in march. Europe GRI US650-800 on 15 march, Transpacific GRI US 400-600 1 Apr. Come march, shorting transparency rule kick in and take extra care if u shorting stock. |

Usually people start shorting only when it has dropped like sheet... But to be profitable, all shorting must be done only when it rallies juicily. But the problem is, when the stocks rise and rally, people will only be thinking of buying... and that's human... lol...

Agreed, basically trading stock is personnel choice. If u got burned, blame noone but urself. Today got some rebound but again trade with caution since no conclusion from italy election. Gona stay out off market at least till next week, too much uncertainty now.

Snake and ladder movement of stock. Currently US market rebounding due to good data coming out and positive remarks from bernake. Year of the snake = lot of up and down, investor gona keep cool and don play into shortist hand by letting them earn money lol. Investors don sell then sooner or later shortist had to cover their position on higher price resulting in shorting bull market. Lot of shortists loses their pants cos noone wants to sell to them and when fund managers go in panic covering lol. Lastly i don mislead pp cos i did caution 2 weeks before 4Q is out to stay away from market. What screw pp up is their greed very simple. Fear and Greed is what caused bear/bull market. Don succumb to ur inner fear/greed and believe in what u investing. |

NOL can hit 1.4X P/B once it returned to more sustainable profit growth, hopefully we know by 14 may 1Q13. 1.4X P/B is around 1.50 - 2.00 for sustained earning rebound, provided no more major shocks in market later this year. Currently stock is like 1.15X P/B due to europe fear again sign... hope italy can form government not like Greek which need re election. NOL investors just need to sit and endure this round of test and in 2014 they can taste the fruit of their labor. |

I am the fastest, i buy at 1.205 and selling at 1.215 under 30mins yesterday lol. Made some coffee money and now waiting for europe development, this week lot of happening so everyone take caution in trading. For those in holding position, don panic this is a government controlled company like olam. Just need to ride out the panic trading trend this week then u ok. Italy political mess screw up the trading pattern this week, had to wait for dust to settle. Endure and invest long time, u always win just don overstretch ur self. |
