Dear geojam, I do visit SJ regularly to read forumers views and comments etc. I am quite new to trading and still learning. Have learn and gain much from you guys here. Thanks for sharing that you are holding only a few counters. That "wakes" me up that I am currently over divisified liao.... Must do something about it. Cheers ! |

geez, you guys get so sentimental on your stocks. like with the SPC thread, man, it's practically a fraternal/family bond there or something, esp those that weathered the spc drop to 4.04 or thereabouts. sentimental folks. tsk. haha. |

hi conga313 and all, the $4 price target is about right by tech count, assuming of course that this current trend continues. for the short term: this current dropping is petering out, but not much signs of uptrend either. So like SPC, likely rangebound for now. Will put an estimate abt btwn 3.52 to 3.7. sell in may and walk away looks true for both blues. note that STE sometimes has huge intraday volatility, so it's not possible to give a smaller range. (eg, 23rd apr, ranged from 3.58-3.7; 17th apr 3.48-3.6). be careful if it cuts below previous low of 3.48 (30th apr low). longterm is still up trend tho. From ~feb 15th onwards has been consistent accumulation upwards. |

Of course I am joking about the dinner.I am happy to have ur company to have simple fried hokien mee will do.And a cup of chendol .Hahahah. Goede Middag (Good afternoon) Geojam, Good to hear from you. Are you serious about dinner? Not a problem but can you get to Holland? I am on contract work. Nice country to visit too and alot more liberal than SG. Yeh, why you sell out? This is stock has strong fundamentals. I see more upsides to it than $3.60+. I see it to be closer to $4.00 by year end. Must'nt 4get the strong order book since last year and projects on-going or near completion will be booked in 2007 and 08. With more new contracts and expansion thru acquisition overseas I think STE needs a re-rating badly. I shall sleep on this one for awhile longer. Btw, I am happy 4 you to have taken your money too. |

Dear jessie Hm....good to know u are 'watching' me.Just joking. My style of investment is to hold 2counters or at most 3 counters at any one time.So i was having,Hiap hoe,Eng Kong,SPC and STE.I have to get rid of one. I like to play 'big' on 2 counters if possible but lose big as well.Hahaha. Cheers and catch up with u somewhere in SJ. |

No sweat over its valuation man, this stock is now my pillow stock. I am sleeping on it, see. I have been holding it for awhile until recently it seem to stagnate. Thanks to Geojam I held back and then it started moving up. Although its business is diversified, each business unit is capable of bringing in contracts worth millions. I like especially its Aerospace division, a star performer. In times of uncertainty, this stock has the staying power, its price remains resilient. A word of thanks to chartists providing the lively pointers. You're all appreciated too. |

Good set of 1Q results...but my take is that its current price fully values its forecast FY07 earnings. My estimate it is now trading at about P/E 20X |

 Profits up by 23% $88.2M to $108.8M. Order book up from $7.37B at Dec 2006 to $9.7B. Looking forward 2007 is going to be better. Good sleep and sweet dreams..zzz..zzz

concur with singaporegal. uptrend in place. signals looking good. macd shows a bit of peaking tho. might be losing some momentum for now. long term still reads up tho. must convincingly break through and sustain above the previous high of 3.7 (resistance level). noticed STE has a habit of breaking its resistance but then hovering around it for a while.... |

singaporegal, Yeah, BB always manipulating mkt. But, even if STE posts eps growth of 30% for FY2007, its P/E is about 19X....which would seem fully valued. Anyway, tomorrow we will have a better picture of the situation. |

Good evening shplayer, You may be right. If you look at the price and volume charts for the last 2 days, its really suspicious. The huge fall on 27 April wasn't supported by large volumes at all. And then the very next day, it rebounded a lot. Maybe its the big boys fooling around? |
