Look at Mirach energy? When it was a micro penny stock, hardly any researcher or analyst  one took any notice of it. No in-depth coverage whatsoever.  But ever since it was fried till over 40 cents, although now around 30, it has been covered so much more often. The recent SIAS report on Mirach, regardless of what they say about monitoring it for ages, is testament that the technical  share price sometimes affects the fundamentals, although the fundamental analyst will dispute it to the end. A reverse stock split is extremely risky though, so the only way to lever up the share price is through reduction of public float. With institutional investors and management now holding in close to 50% (< 26% in the hands of two individuals)  of the stock and likely to increase even further, we will likely see an uptrend. Over the course of time, no one  can challenge the  theory of supply and demand, not even deep pocketed  shortists. |

The future has just turned even brighter ! The announcent today of the listing of the placements shares is dated as 13 Aug which means Alan could have made more purchases since the placement shares was first announced on 18 Jul. The additional 2m shares is unlikely to have been accumulated before 18 Jul as I believe Hankore should then have shared that with the placement, Alan's stake should be 10% and not just 6%. It may be likely that he took over what Firstree disposed then as we had all wonder who could have supported the avalanche released by Firstree at 5.6c as it would have very damaging impact on the price if there is no strong supporter absorbing them. Now, that's clearer. Tritech placement shares are priced at 25c at a discount to the last traded price and it surged more than 100%. Hankore can't be doing so badly and so believe Alan having now amassed 10% to become 2nd largest shareholder. I believe the market has not reacted to this update and the market should react positively tomorrow ! This is a very strong endorsement and injection of confidence in Hankore's future ! There were even some suspecting Alan has disposed of his shares when it shot above 5c for quick profit like what the Hotel 81 boss did and then short sell ! So, the latest announcement should put such speculation to rest and take heart that Hankore now has a significant Spore management and presence now. This is very good indeed !

Hello All.. am back. been on business trips and busy lately with work. By the way, I just joined moneytalk at SGtalk.org.   Just to let you guys know that HK is aggressively seeking to expand. The MTN of 300M SGD will be used up soon for projects and there will be another round of MTN in the next 12 months to raise money for business expansion (google the internet and you will know,   have send same info to some members here). David and gang is not sitting down doing nothing, believe they are on to something big and building a billion dollar/RMB company. Lets hope they can meet their goals and fulfill our dreams. Yeah our multibagging dreams. Bio-treat faulted on bonds and that was what brought them down from a almighty high   of over a dollar. Corrupt and bad corporate practices together with the financial crisis tanked Bio-treat (you guys can go read the entire history from Shareinvestor if the info are still there). That period was the darkest chapter in the history of the company. Hence traders and investors are still skeptical about HK securing bonds. They probably shorted big time. What makes it so different this time round is that the conditions are so very different right now. 1. China's economy is stabilizing and starting to show signs of growth. There are projections by some economist that by mid-2014, a 9% growth is achievable. I still have the article if anyone wants, please PM me. 2. China is pouring trillions of RMB to address air and water pollution. (you can google this up) 3. Eurozone is stabilizing and showing signs of recovery and growth. When they get busy ..China factories gets busy and that means more water treatment opportunities. (you can google this up as well or see posting by Lucky03). I want to add that US economy is also on growth mode. 4. Stronger corporate governance with Alan now sitting at board meetings. 2nd largest shareholder has to protect and grow his money.  5. HK NOW has a sustainable business and operating income compared to Biotreat whose main revenue comes from projects. With the operating income and project revenue, the MTN interests can be serviced on-time.  HKs financial report will be out soon, I hope they can provide more insight to their expansion plans, business goals and above all a good profit to see this counter shoot past 10cts by this year. This counter is for the long run and I have a higher exit target. Good luck to all HK tongers.   |

There should be some price reaction to Mr Wang's 10% stake tomorrow. Investors are definitely going to draw comparisons between Mr Wang's previous Sino Grandness and Sarin Technologies investments, both of which are doing pretty well now. The recent price action is probably due to influential investors launching another comparison with Alan's Equation Corp investment, which isn't doing very well as of speaking. Not sure if Mr Wang has divested from the latter.
Equation Corp and HK is different though. Equation was a perpetual loss making machine with its last profitable year in 2007..no idea how such a company can remain listed for so long.. But back to the point, HK is on track for another profitable year. Though unsurprisingly a dividend is out of the question this fiscal year with the covenants attached to the multi currency notes. |

this is my sense - placement causes an upward pull to share price, but junk bonds cause a downward pull. so it's a tug-a-war? don't think it's coincidence that issue of debt notes occurred right after placement - placement is to stabilize share price? note that while issue of debt notes mean allowance for expansion, it also means eating into future profits when repaying the loans with 7.5% interest in the future, thus affecting share price prospects in the long term. the amount of debt will always weigh on share price, and 300 million is no joke for a micro penny company. also, the exit of a major shareholder doesn't look good. so now whether share price moves significantly depends on announcement of significant expansion/business plans with the use of the loaned money that will hopefully capture the imagination of investors. long-term wise i think lots of potential. short-term wise may have upheavals. utilities and infrastructure is a good bet in the long term, and hopefully the loaned capital succeeds in generating exponential income. on the flip side, there's always a chance that the expansion/business venture flops, in which case the company will be saddled with impossible debts. this increased risk with the issue of junk bonds causes downward pull on share price as a result. hope this is a balanced and accurate view of the situation now. my 2 cents.   | ||||

I shared my observation at Market Talk that Sino Grandness where Alan Wang also got his placement at 82c, the share price also pulled back to 80c before it traded up all the way to $1.40+ over the next few months. Can Alan do the same magic with HK's share to 10c by Dec 2013? I think he is capable with David's help in getting the EPC/BOT/TOT to achieve his 3M tons target. HK's current capacity is 1.57M, and with recent 40K project, it will be 1.61M. Wow, he will need a few big BOT/TOT to reach that scale. With the $250M MTN lined up with DBS Bank, I wish him good fortune. And good fortune to HK tongers too.  | ||||

Alan Wang probably bought the 207 million HK shares from 3.9c to 4.9c before the placement announcement. Guys, relax and stop trying to interpret the short sell figures. Don't read too much into the short term trading. BBs are shaking the short term traders to make it difficult to trade as one is unsure of the quick change in direction, unless you monitor closely like a hawk. Have a cuppa of kopi and wait for the 4Q results end of August, and if HK performs to expectation, it will provide the catalyst for share rerating. Let's see what HK is going to do with all the cash raised as David needs to build the water assets fast in order to perform a corporate re-organisation with HK's water assets to fulfill his asset light strategy to achieve his dream 3M tons in 3 years and 5M tons in 5 years. With Alan Wang crossing 10% holdings, together with David and JT's main shareholder, they will be the joint major shareholders with close to 40% holdings.   Cheers guys, and enjoy the ride up. :)

Eh I wrote wrongly. Yea he had 207 million shares initially. But didn't need to declare as it was under the 5% threshold. Only after he was allocated his placement shares today was his stake pushed to 10%, which is around 6% below David's after all the placements and dilution.
