Anyone has any idea which companies are involved in the burning of vegetation in Indonesia's Southern Sumatra and Kalimantan. The whole world should boycott their product to force them to stop burning. We must pre-empt before they repeat. How can all the governments in this region cannot solve this problem, blaming one another? |

"What worries us is that Singapore's economy has become significantly more volatile in recent years, and dependent on electronics exports and the nascent biotech sector," said HSBC in its Q4 Pan-Asian Wquity Strategy report. A 1% decline in US economic growth would cut Singapore's economic growth rate by 2.5%, it added.If this is the case, a 2.5% decline in US economic growth would result in Singapore's economic growth rate of only 1-2%. Another analyst may say that Singapore is increasingly reliant on China and US would have lesser impact. So you decide whom you should trust. |

First thing first, STI must clear 2667 resistance. When that happens, the double bottom formation (the two bootoms in Oct 05 and Jun 06) will be established. This will see STI moving into uncharted territory with a potential of reaching 3100. Can't tell when, hope this will happen before May 07. We can then sell all and go for holiday liao. A bit of dreaming here but it is plausible just hope that there is no major hiccups in US, Japan and China. |

Wow! Very positive ya, Nostradamus .... I am more kiasu. If STI can maintain above 2,600, very shiok liao. I am wary of the coming winter with bird flu, North Korea & Iran nuclear threats, Taiwan & China madness, high oil price and Osama's gang to ruin the day for us. The current stage is too prefect now .... Scary! But I am bullish on tech for the next 4 months cos tis is the season to be jolly then! HeeHee!! |

STI's closing today is 2,641.48 ... GREEN BULL! Its only 18.17 points away to 52-week high of 2,659.65 on 03rd May 2006 (prior to our GE, remember?) All time intraday high for STI was 2,666.33 as recorded by JS here. After last month's unexpected good run, STI is smelling its all-time record so soon now .... Scary ah!!!! |
