i think some one is a broker here. if brokers believe this is a good counter, they should support their call and push it up to the tp they stated, otherwise their integrity will be tarnish. |

The upgrades are coming thick and fast. I think OCBC just revised TP to $1.40. Every analyst now talking abut JWS and takeover. Bro Beng, they are way behind your chun chun calls! 0046 GMT [Dow Jones] Biosensors (B20.SG) may revisit November high of S$0.995 on follow-through buying, riding on optimism over company's expansion in China through buyout of 50% stake in JW Medical it doesn't already own and on Credit Suisse's coverage initiation at Outperform with S$1.30 target price. Prospect of Biosensors being takeover target may also fuel interest in stock, says UBS; "Biosensors could be an attractive acquisition target after it gets the CE mark and longer-term trials confirm data from smaller trials completed so far." Drug-eluting stent maker expected to get coveted CE mark approval for its flagship Biomatrix stent this month. "The company could get a large share of the stent market. We note, however, larger trials are required to verify data provided thus far," says UBS. Stock closed +6.1% at S$0.96 yesterday. |

Biosensors International Group: Good foresight through JWMS acquisition Summary: Biosensors International Group (Biosensors) announced yesterday that it will be acquiring the remaining 50% of leading China based stent maker, JWMS, in 2 phases. JWMS is valued at US$180m and dilution will be about 33%. Biosensor's strong IP portfolio coupled with JWMS' distribution network and profitable Excel stent business put it as one of the forerunners in the rapidly growing DES market in China. Biosensors and JWMS will now be able to address the whole spectrum of government tenders with both the Excel and soon to-be-approved Biomatrix DES. We update our bottomline forecasts to factor in new margin information about JWMS and Biosensors. Using standard medtech valuation (30% discount rate of FY10F net profit with average 30x peer PER), fair value is raised to S$1.40 (vs. S$0.99). Maintain BUY. |
