There are some clowns here who like smoke cracks saying that gent will shoot up because of some aquisitions, convertible bonds to sell at some premium, some mergers and some other monkey balls rolling dices. What I am saying here is it may sound like a joke to me but poison to other potential newbies. Good luck to those who still remains optimistic.

heya antking, just be careful yea? and pls rem, my posts are just that, my opinion. don't take it as hard and fast rule, k? it's not my place to tell ppl what to do, and i try not to do that; unless it's really screaming blatant manipulation. 'cos ultimately, each investor needs to make up his/her own mind. the charts are clear on genting, however. good luck whichever way you choose tho! :) |

Oops! Pardon me, the 2nd convertable bonds expire in yr 2012, so therefore it's only 5 yrs. |

1st issue of convertable bond already almost converted @ $0.63 cts.2nd batch of 15 yrs convertable bonds @ $1.23??(not sure)don't think any of the bank will convert unless share price is above the issue price by 10%++(depend on their appetite)If right issue -will depend on shareholders willingness to subscribe, therefore -demand & supply & also will depend on market sentiment. Market sentiment will depend on US & China in which everyday cheong, cheong & cheong,Will it burst? - for the time being I don't think so, all the farmers,students,taxi driver,labourer etc are digging into their pocket to support their market.It will burst on the day money lender knock on their doors & company with bad loan start to announce profit warnings. Still, I am sticking to Macquire research of $1.57 @ revenue of $1.5 billion on 1st yr of profit announcement.So good for the long term but short term -look see, look see- enter when it is cheap, no hurry.Invest at your own risk, do not force yourself & study carefully.Happpy trading & investment. |

And just to add alittle bit of my teachings here. George Soros did have alittle bit of my admirations, he achieved tremendous result shorting British pound which is not my cup of tea. I prefer to do proper old school long term investing then to do speculative play. This post is worth at least $55.50 for every read. |

As a great guru like myself, I don't follow the charts, I follow my great intuition. You dun have to pay tuition $$ if u are as good as me. You will have no fear if you are as good as me. And most important of all, will you still be holding genting if... let say it drops to 30cents? This are qns that u should sometimes ask urself. But the most important qn to ask is... am I as smart as Guru Robert? If no, then u better find some shelter.

frankly speaking normally i wont hesitate to SHORT this burger...hee but this being a gambling stock must give some respect oso lah :P rather SHORT others like GEM TV or Synear with slightly "predictable" human behaviour :D |

oic....is this why the charts show selling from ~25may? (actually if you go by a/d, the selling has been from 17th apr at close of 1.05...) eddyson, if your news is accurate, then tmrw and next few sessions can perhaps expect a drop. the techs all point to a drop happening soon... not good....stay cautious please.... |

They are now announcing that they had left S$195 million from the proceeds from issuance of S$450 million after paying SC S$255 million.So how to build the resort with this money left. Looks like very soon, asking shareholders to cough out the money or another bond issue. Anyone knows how much money left from the 1st bond issue? |

hm. ok people, cool it.... as an investor, it's most important to cut through the ego and see what is, rather than to argue on and on about the way someone posts, or pass derogatory comments on each other. Let's be proper investors, shall we? ie, focus on the market. cut through the personalities, see the trend. whether you like or dislike a person in SJ or anywhere else doesn't matter, the most impt thing is to learn. am sure all of us have paid our tuition fees in our own time, but that's how you learn. so yea, no need to belittle, or grandiose or overinflate. Focus on the market and what you can learn. long term, that's the only way to make money. Gen Int techs: bollies tightening, a/d and c/o don't look good. williams show sudden selling from 25th may to today. expect a breakout drop in next few sessions. i'll place a 10c drop as likely, going from previous drops. caveat emptor. btw, i don't know what Gen Int's PE is, but if it is truly 98x, then yes, agree with robert that it's fully ridiculous. Also agree that this stock, like gems, is being held by a lot of small fries. And therein lies the danger. Too large float, too many small time investors. Perfect target to be played by swing traders and shortists big and small. |

U see.. U all totally dun understand what the Instructor is saying... Who are the ones who dominate genting shares? Newbies. And it's not only 1 newbie, it's lots n lots n lots n lots n millions of newbies holding genting shares. Can newbies see red in their portfolio? answer is NO, why? bcoz they wanted quick $$$. If 1 newbie sell, the price drops.. the next newbie will sell, when the next newbie sells the price drop even more... more newbies will sell, more newbies sell cause more newer newbies to sell untill the last newbie which is the newiest newbie to bail out(hope u all don't fall into this category bcoz it is very painful). Grand masters like myself would never touch a counter like this with a 10foot pole wearing a hazmat suit. So what this counter dun have is people with holding power and financial muscles. And the funniest joke of all I hear from real hardcore newbies is that this bloody counter is still undervalued at a PE ratio of 98??? Supreme grand masters who look at this post will laugh their big fat belly out! All becoz of the foolishness of Mr. Newbie. |

even my "green dragons" group give calls dun need 1 year 5 months leh.. for me, i even give "private" calls to some forumeers 1 day ahead of the next day "possible" outcome.. and it bingo lor.. unless u tell me you are not "covered" lor, hahaha.. genting itself is oreadi a speculative play, and "playing" this type of counter does not have a "definite vision" one lor.. somemore 1 year 5 month lor, u think 4D auh, 0105... |
