hi epl, just got to read your msg. i logged off right after market closed.

Yup i sold my stxosv last fri morning. Nope didn't buy back this counter (in fact didn't want to buy anything today) cos not gian to step into landmine. Tmr may be buy or sell short, all depends on stxosv's results. The opening price will be very telling.

It is all up to the individual to decide.

Since there is no guarantee how a stock will react to any good or bad news,

it is more practical to observe the market's reaction first before acting.

People play this results game because of thefact that news affect prices.

But the problem is no one can predict the direction of reaction,

both upon and after the announcement. They can be different.

Thus this is not a game for newbies to indulged in... Smiley

The adventurous type will prefer to buy at a low price based on

an assumption of direction near the date of announcement.

This will ensure maximum meat if correct, but is harder to execute.

This is my preferred methd in the interest of more meat.

In any case, once executed, I will promptly dump if my

assumption proves to be wrong re the reaction to news ... Smiley
