CapitaLand upbeat about China Property developer CapitaLand believes that rapid urbanisation and the huge demand for housing will continue to underpin the Chinese market for a long time to come. It is of the view that current market conditions are driven mainly by physical demand. The comments were made in a presentation at the Daiwa investment conference in Tokyo yesterday. While it noted there is some degree of speculative demand in the Tier 1 cities, CapitaLand said there is no subprime danger in China, unlike in the United States. It added that it is comforted by measures taken by China’s government to rein in the market. For the Singapore residential market, it said the recent cooling measures introduced by the Government are to ensure a stable and sustainable property market and discourage short-term speculation. CapitaLand also said it would continue to acquire new sites here. |

If all KepLand investors LONG like Richman, there would be NO TRIPLE BOTTOMS. some investors would not get the "Heart Attacks" and / or weaken hearts. Especially for the 1st down leg. Every KepLand investor would be as happy as Richman now. |

thanks for sharing. Good inputs. Yes, I agree that SG market can be easily be manipulated but blue chip less lightly to happen. (cross fingers). I can only hope MM see the same crystal ball as me I believe in the hybrid model. I also hold many many Kepland. Fundamentally it is a very good stock. The problem with a lot of ppl know how to get in but dont know how to get out. Myself included. I use TA as a indicator for me to get out FAST

More than a decade ago, American investors told me that singapore market is tOO small and the counters are easily manipulated by MMs as and when they want to do it. That is why Temasek, GIS, MAS are investing in USA instead of Singapore. Singapore government cornered all the businesses that they can control in Singapore. If Singapore government can control the share investments in Singapore, Temasek, GIS, MAS need not invest overseas, especially in USA where they are so ignorant and blinded. |
