Thus singtel n vietell very likely. China not likely due to legacy. One license to europe continent to ensure there is continual financial suppport from their euro government. Digicel chairman Denis O’Brien said: ‘With current mobile penetration below 10% in Myanmar, we are committed to rolling out a world-class telecommunications network and have submitted a pre-qualification application to the government of Myanmar.’

By the way, NT surge yesterday because of influence from Yoma's bid for Myanmar Telco license. Apr 11 should have the short-listing from Myanmar. NT's current customers Singtel and Viettel are both interested and if any of these two get short-listed, then good news. Actually don't care who gets the license, NT may have some contracts from them because they are already experienced and entrenched in the Myanmar telco sector.
