Hi, If you know how to read in between lines, you will be able to know the truth, what do you think when the company changes auditor from small to the international one?   see in their update in earlier month. This exit offer plan is a possitive one.   Do not be negative without fundamental reasons or wild guess.   Those who know how to analyse the news already started buying the shares at the low and waiting to final harvest.   Ha ha ha --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------  ‘‘That Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu be and are hereby appointed as auditors of the Company, in place of the retiring auditors, Moore Stephens LLP, to hold office until the conclusion of the next annual general meeting of the Company and to authorise the board of directors to fix their remuneration.’’ ---------------------------------------------------------

Last October, DBS Vickers said that CAH delisting offer to be 'attractive'. Now announced - it's 30 cents. I don't think it's that attractive. I think CAH will do much better on HK exchange. That CEO is astute. |

Likely the case if you do not wish for your stake to be transfered to HKSE. But again the statement says " Possible" and indicative price is S$0.30. If you get this  confirmed, there should be an upside to the surrender price and present price of 0.285. But if something happens along the way, this may burst. Did not mention time frame for this to happen. That is the risk.  " The Possible Delisting would be effected by way of a selective capital reduction of Shares under the Companies Act 1981 of Bermuda (which is a share repurchase by general offer for the purposes of the Hong Kong Codes on Takeovers and Mergers and Share Repurchases), whereby all Shareholders would be entitled to tender all or some of their Shares for cancellation and receive a cash exit offer price of S$0.30 per Share which is cancelled. Shareholders who do not accept the cash exit offer in respect of their Shares would, to the extent their Shares are held on the Bermuda register of members, have their Shares transferred at the Company’s cost to the Hong Kong branch register of

Trading halt. Pending the release of an announcement regarding a matter which is price sensitive in nature. Once again, insiders quicker than the rest......

Notwithstanding the 7.4% decline in STI since 3 May, China Animal has notched an impressive gain of 9.3% over the same period. Based on chart, it seems to be in the process of bottoming. Do take a look at my writeup on ernestlim15.blogspot.com for more details.

Its not going for a taiwan listing. They just want to get out of SGX since S Chips is a dirty name here. They will maintain the HK listing though....which is probably what the big funds shareholder wants.  But there is a problem with the delisting too. If minority shareholders are still holding on after the delisting, they will have to ensure that they can trade SIP products if they subsequently want to sell their share on the Hong Kong Side. So I guess, any exit offer made is just a token sum for the sake of doing so. The real deal is on the hong kong side.

Thanks for the info. So good to hold and not sell until relisting in Taiwan you think?
Anyway, recent results quite decent. Company still one of the favoured amongst analyst. Even if low volume for now.

In FinaOne's case, the controlling shareholder just offered market price to delist without a premium. And since they managed to secure more than 75% of votes, the delisting went ahead despite the minority shareholders protesting. But those who held on to the shares and didnt sell at the exit price made loads when it was subsequently relisted on Taiwan.
