very disappointing this stock, being sleeping for very long and somemore keep dropping to that low price when the economy was bad few yrs ago. What are thakral family and hong leong intent to do with thakral. so long no news on the company direction? |

This company has $114m in cash..My guess is this money will be going into property extremely soon.... We maintain our Hold recommendation on Thakral. The stock is trading near book value of 9.95 cents, and this will cushion any downside. We would prefer to see more visibility in earnings recovery before getting more optimistic. In our view, the stock should not be assessed from an earnings angle at the moment, given the absence of a core business division. Current cash position of circa $114m is a decent war chest. |
