I never really believe target put by Fund Manager/Broker. What they say mainly to indicate a very longterm period ... But, evaluating from EPS and Quaterly Report, good to take arround 1.03. Once market heat is back ... you will see the return ...

Merrill Lynch cuts target price for Synear Food to $1.60 from $2.65; keeps Buy rating. Broker says slower new capacity ramp-up likely to lower sales volume, adds Synear "likely to face sustained raw material cost pressure, and the recent snow storms in China could worsen the situation." But says trend should reverse in 2H08. "We expect industry consolidation to accelerate, leading to increased market share for leaders like Synear in the longer term." |

Hi Brendan982201, Synear's charts look bearish to me, like many other counters. Acc/Dist and Chaikin are heading southwards. You are right. It is safer to use more than 1 indicator to re-affirm the readings. A combination of around 3 indicators is best, in my opinion. Anything more than 3 and you will get confused by different readings. |

Singaporegal, I mean by reading your article, i think Ferro China is a up when i see the charting on 5 Feb[I mention in another thread], it was up from 1.17 to 1.19 and 1.24 But for synear, I am not able to see any uptrend except MACD looks like converging, but base on one indicator cannot tell anything right? Rgds |

well....honestly i hv no secrets...pure guessing on human reactions and mkt situation...but lately...u can SHORT almost on anything that are HIGH and likely u will make $$ out of it...as mkt is bearish.... |

As Technical analysis: Synear base on downtrend analysis has support Fibbo 50% at 1.31. It's very rare stock can by pass 61.8%. General Strongest Market Resistance at 2.3 General Weakest Market Support at 1.64. Let se if market still want to play arround 1.31 .. it's a sign if market is in trouble ... for people who want to take advantage ... can buy in now ... obviously you can make provit ... Not for contra unless you dare to make a bet |

Synear is in a downtrend currently. Just broke the 1.44 support today. Not a good sign. Next support at 1.34. But likely this support will break too due to the current sentiments, possible respite from further falls at 1.29. A volatile play, trade within your means. |

I see a reverse Head & Shoulder in the making, hence I am betting a reversal anytime now. Support at 1.58-1.60. If support broken, SHS is nulled. Once cross over the 1.80 mark, uptrend will be confirm. If QDII announces green light this period, I am sure the uptrend will be confirmed. Accumulation is strong last 10 days, except today but selling not aggressive. Let's see! |
