This provide the cutting edge of replacing all the old meters giving energy player cost saving which will ultimately increase their profit margin. Hence, it provide a potential play when time is right. As correctly pointed out, much of its potential market comes from overseas especially facing high climate of liberalisation in this sector. Waiting for next downturn to buy in more.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	From my research, EDMI manufactures data loggers for energy metering used in the electricity generation and transmission  and oil & gas industry, although not so prevalent. I do not see that divestment of the 3 power plants in Singapore will suddenly create a demand for EDMI's metering products. The power plants in Singapore already have existing metering systems which are efficient. There is no need to change the metering system / equipment just because a new owner comes on board. The main catalyst for EDMI in Singapore will be if there are more power plant projects coming up which is unlikely because Singapore has always maintained an overcapacity of power supply. Hence, EDMI's profit growth is likely to come from overseas sales, rather than domestic. Just my thoughts.
