The practice in the past pre-exit of the Hussein Onn era (close to before Mahitir becoming PM ) was the Baba-Ali practices where the babas led the alis in every sector of the economy including governments.   The the Babas were Ministers while the Alis were deputies.   After the rise of Mahatir, the new PM and his cronies reversed the system of Baba-Ali to become Ali-Baba, using the fairy tale of " Ali-Baba and the Forty thieves" as the theme to ali-baba-ed the non Bumis. Just for the history books. For non Bumis, (bumis are practically Malays, except in Sabah and Sarawaks will include some,only some, indigenous people) they can only hope to make use of their ability to do real profitable business to excel more than the Bumiputra policies able to give the Bumis.   Thus business acumen for non Bumis in Malaysia is of utmost import. Hope Albedo people can do it great and big!! Vestws and hold 100 lots in Albedo. So this may take their profits  margin higher, just by marketing and sell to local meaning their aim is mid and low cost housing and commercial. For that and to local demand should still be there and well supported. So there  is plenty of room to cater to the upper end clients. Danny Tan may not only cater to build mainly for the locals, It is very like that they will oso built for, to cater to upper middle class and those worth several millions more, more then one million RM$. Everything will go into the first stage to make it a big  succeed.

If they do the whole thing smoothly between Dec 13 to early Feb 14, it should be ok. But if any delay the whole timing end up past Apr then the risk is not worth it anymore. Remember the trading taboo of "Sell in May and come back in Nov"? The thing is with trading for next year will not be good too....end of QE and others. The only hope is for China to start firing again or else....best to stay clear of market and go smell the flowers. Of course....if things got too heated eg property price, they may have to come out to say something to calm their own citizens that can be expected of for any good gov ( ours included ). It's a political thingy, for u and me then just take it as noises. It will go away soon. The most important when u invest, pls understand why it makes u want to buy....if for gambling then it's hit and run thing, must stay very nimble. If for investment thingy...then u got to think longer term and to buy on dips. No chasing.....very patient, once in then it can be weeks or months before selling. If that is the case....it's best u must able to tell the different of a potentially good investment from a bad one. So pls don't let the RM$1 mil property thingy put u off the stock market or cause u sleepless nights. The elites and backers esp of Iskandar got more to lose than us if the whole project end up as a white elephant. If we lose....after a few beers and a bad hang over, we pick ourselves up and move on. But for the elites and backers....they lost everything eg mistresses, money, family, respect, fame, name, reputation and almost everything they had accumulated....even their life. Always trade within your means, dont chase after stocks and no contra then stay your ground once vested, the good times is just ahead....Xmas and CNY
