Cannot believe you and charts. Charts made me sell when i should be holding on tight! pui to all charts! Keppel is a generous company that gifs shreholders rewards every now and then...Noble got do that boh? I think you should not anyhow scare people and coz them to make faulty moves.

Many think Mubabi die die wont step down and many sell away on friday afraid that egypt will get more serious during weekend. But in the end Mubaba kanna step down with tears in his eyes and cause Wall Street stocks jump on Mubabi's resignation. If next week STI back to normal green, many will go bang wall and @#$%@## Mubabi! Hope next monday onward we will see some light. Cheers to those that vested or still holding on and wish good things happen more often. Keppel corp is one of the best STI counter, U wont go wrong if load at the right timing if got the chance. Keppel Corp: likely to see trading interest today, after Ensco says it will order 2 ultra-premium harsh environment jackup rigs (Super A design) from Keppel FELS, worth a combined US$440m. The rigs, capable of being deployed in the North Sea, are scheduled for delivery in 2Q and 4Q 2013. The contract comes with options for 2 additional jackups at similar terms, to be exercised by Aug 2, 2011. Keppel has not yet made an official announcement. Ytd, Keppel boasts new orders of 6 jackups worth an aggregate S$1.6b. The latest contract also comes at a higher price tag of US$220m/rig, vs US$180-190m /rig previously. Order momentum appears strong, and combined with outstanding options for another 11 rigs, Keppel seems on track to beat mkt expectations of S$4-5b of orders by year end. Stock closed -1.5% at $11.56 yday, dragged by overall mkt weakness. Almost the entire Street rates at Buy, with TP ranging btwn $12.05 - 16.00. Key risk is that Keppel appears to be granting its customers favorable payment terms, with 20% due at contract signing and remaining 80% due on delivery, whereas in the past, progressive payments were made on the 80%. As Keppel takes on more debt to finance its increased working capital requirements, higher interest rates in future may have a negative impact on earnings. |

Keppel Corp - Technical Analysis Keppel Corp stock remains in downside correction mode after hitting a 31-month-high at 12.46 on January 27. Yesterday's drop below the 20-day moving average and horizontal support at 11.64 on strong volumes confirmed the short-term negative bias. Price hit support at the intermediate-term uptrend line at 11.52 and recovered somewhat off this level until the close. It remains to be seen whether the stock can bounce off current support significantly. A closing above gap resistance at 11.86 would improve the short-term technicals and could trigger a test of key resistance seen at 12.46/12.50. A weekly close above 12.50 would likely trigger follow-through buying pressure towards 13.80 intermediate-term. Violation of yesterday's low at 11.52 on the other hand would suggest a near-term test of crucial zone of support at 11.24-11.42 . Violation of the latter level would imply serious technical damage and shift the mid-term bias from bullish to neutral. /dbwarrants/ |

SINGAPORE, Feb 8 (Reuters) - CLSA Asia Pacific has downgraded Keppel Corp STATEMENT: CLSA said it downgraded Keppel Corp because there is only 10 percent upside to its target price and the stock is trading at 16.4 times price-earnings ratio for the 2011 financial year. But the brokerage said it expects Keppel Corp to get new orders worth S$8.7 billion ($6.8 billion) in 2011, compared with S$3.2 billion last year, as more companies replace their jack-up rigs and demand from customers remains robust. CLSA added that strong residential sales will be the main earnings drivers as Keppel Land At 0258 GMT, Keppel Corp shares were down 0.2 percent at S$11.80 on a volume of 803,000 shares.
