The management cannot be trusted. This is not the first time it bungles. Remember last year, it gave out extremely large parcel of options shares to management at steep discount. There was a big selldown. Then they change the reward to cash after the options not in the money. It is Head they win Tail investors lose! Wait for management change! |

I lost $$ lei !! but I learnt my lesson...if lost, just cut...then move to another counter. Still quite happy abt transfering the $ from bioT to mapletree yesterday. At least, can zzz well at night. Plus got dividends kopi $ |

Read it somewhere .... When investing in a stock, the Top Management plays a HUGE role, aside its biz and cash flow. These are the few basic fundamentals to consider when buying a stock. Messy management will not attract institutional players to play up a company's share price due to this uncertainty. (We, as retail investors are small fishes and unable to move the price at all. We need a ride from this big players.) It's common to hear listed companies hiring and firing its CEO to boost investors' confidence as the big players are very mindful of who runs the show in the company. |

Agreed. Funds have no reason to buy at this time. It takes awhile for confidence to be restore for big fishes as well as retail investors. |

If irregularities can "kill" Singapore listed firms, just wonder how many more China firms (3 China firms to date) will be similarly hit. Imagine some China firms reporting losses or accounting irregularities not long after being listed. Who shd be held responsible (with punishment to be meted out for failing to do so) for not conducting due diligence checks before allowing them to be listed in Singapore? Most of us would have thought that the CAO fiasco would be the first and the last of China firms with similar problems. Maybe, the penalty should be enhanced. The slightly more than 4 years' imprisonment for the CAO CEO does not appear to be a deterrent at all. Shd follow the overseas example where the imprisonment is 25 years for the main culprit. Funds which have been "stung" would shy away from this share. Why buy now, evidently knowing that it will take some time for confidence to be restored in Bio-treat? |

I also think this stock is over done for declining. When all the bad news and lost of transparency in the top management, plus all extra "wayang" about dismissal of Chairman etc. is over, and all exposed and once the it is settle down, one should consider and think, should we go in again ? As some one in this forum in this counter ever mentioned, for this counter at this moment, when no news means good news ! It will take at least 2 Q to prove their transparency in management for issue of profit warning or whatsoever. Market would always chase after good news but not to forget, when time is not right, they should also gives investor an answer. This is a good model business, but lousy management. It will take a while to regain back market confident. Even if you got stuck or holding to this stock, after all this is a profit company, so if you can hold, then hold a while to see. Tomorrow or may be a while later, I may be coming back to invest again. Good Luck to all of you who show confident in this stock ! |

Very sad for the company. It is in the right industry and has a lot of growth potential. The financial performance is still good even after the one off quarterly loss. However, the management team is certainly not praise worthy and governance, or lack of it, is something investors can see with their own eyes. Having said that, I have a feeling that today's selling is overdone. Not sure how much of the selling is due to total lack of confidence in the company's management and how much is due to short selling. |

Agreed, this is part of life. I think this counter is not in good sign, the selling volume is higher than the buying volume. If you do not want to hold for long term, take profit and get out ! |

My principle is when make profit, just done and go ! Do not be greedy as the ball is round one ! But if it jump above 0.63, be it, after all I aready make 0.035c liao. I call it a day today after around S$500 profit minus the brokage fee. But I burnt a hole in China KangDa. |
