Giantlow,I wish u the best of luck in 2007.And all ur "dreams"come true although u still cannot be Elf pet.I will see whether i can convince her to take u as her pet tho. This asia pacific breweries?where did u get this company? Elf,where do u hang out for ur booze in spore?I remembered once while holidaying in spore i passed by bugis junction or somewhere near it,the place is jam pack.But it is still orderly compared to here where they have binge drinking.Here i avoid the nightclub area after 9 PM. |

dear all, sorry I was out in the country side (actually to the edge of the old world..) and could not access the internet.. so this late post... giantlow, I leave you to continue to guess my age.. for me it doesnt matter what you call me... I regard myself as evergreen a man for all seasons... always believe in keeping myself relevant.. such as discovering little smileys

and as to where I get them.. shall we keep it a secret.. like your job (I shall reveal to you in time)- - btw re the angpow, the tradition is that you should receive it on CNY period.. not in August...I was going to give you red and packet on behalf of Geojam, but looks like my offer rejected....

heya all, yep singaporegal, STE = st engg. I was a bit mixed on its charts since AD was up, but weakening as you said, tho that could simply be 'cos of traders wrapping up before CNY. thing is, envelope is starting to curve to a down. too many factors to see clear trend for now. in any case. the dow is bleeding tonight, and people are getting bearish. since markets move on sentiment and not fact, i would personally hold off all buying decisions tomorrow morning. might be a good idea to wait and see morning session first. still looking for two counters tho: allgreen and cdlh. fyi for those interested. hehe. man, am i thickskinned or what! haha. giantlow, cannot lah... bunnie already said i can only have one pet. must keep my little pet happy. :) k all, nites. cannot make it, too much boozing....zzz liao. |

hahaha... This goes to show that so-called "Technical Analysis" is really an art form in perception. Each interpreter will have his/her own favourite insights according to each's experience. |

Sporegal, Ref your comments on STE, my interpretation of the charts seems to be contrary to yours. I see a downtrend bias....though I agree that it needs confirmation in the next day or so. Just my novice opinion. |

Hi elf, By STE, you mean ST Engineering? Yeah... bollinger bands are tight. I would think there's a slight bias towards upward movement. But the last couple of days indicate a weakening somewhat. Hard to tell.... must wait for the next trading day to be certain. |

What caught my attention is because they own office properties as well: i.e., office rental rates, which are forecasted to give the best increase in value since luxury is more or less at its tail-end already. Until CDL opens their office reits, this stock to me is one of the better prop plays. By TA: consistent uptrend since its IPO, fibonacci gives next wave target to 2.50. It's at 1.92. However, I'm playing it as a TA trade first since the parent CDL gives FYE results on 28th feb. Will watch run up carefully. If it does the spurt before results and then dip (as most cos seem to be doing), i'll sell before results day. thereaft will assess results to see if it's worth as an FA holding. cheers, all! :) |

U are rite,no loh hei here in Perth. A few Asian mkt is closed today and tomolo,but ASX is open. So u have free time should visit www.asx.com.au and maybe pick up some good shares.Let me know what u have picked tho. |

hi Geojam, Bunnie... greetings from Ireland....here I celebrated CNY with loh hei... btw, do you know that this is the real Singapore CNY tradition.. I think it is not available in Aussieland (correct me if I am wrong Geojam, but as you have not mentioned it I guess I am right...my friends in Sydney and Melbourne do not do loh hei).. I know you cannot have loh hei in New York or London Chinatown... but perhaps fellow forumers might advise me otherwise.. |

Bunnie U mentioned in some thread that a token angpow will suffice.So no problem lah. here peking duck comes in 4 courses. U have the skin wrap,the duck soup,the duck noodles and the sang chow pow(mince duck wrap in lettuce leave). All up only A$42. I like sea cucumber too,shark fin soup,abalone,crayfish,black moss etc.. Here all these will costs u about A$88 a head during CNY. Aiyah,u are still young,as far as i am concerned.And all of u doing well in shares. enjoy the rest of the CNY holidays. |

Nowadays, can just do e- transfer, today immediately can get lah ... ha ha ha ... if Elf got no bankaccount to give you, and .. ahem, angpow big enough I can volunteer to be the courier /chatier for a small fee (she can get it on Chap goh mei becoz I am now not in singapore) ... heh hee hee

Giantlow,yeah man,u qualified to collect angpow.Will put u on my database.My reunion dinner here is peking duck at a local restuarant!!!! hahah. Wow,so many young ppl into shares.Good sign.When around ur age only know how to chase girls and know nothing of shares. Elf,Will hand u the angpow in august.And is looking up the CDL-H that u reco. Alot of branded hotels in the cdl-h.Do u think the px is high?$1.92? What will the yield be? I do not have much figures with me,like NTA. cheers |
