selling paragon will only get abt $1-2 per share so difficult for share to go 20. probably u need to wait >10yrs for 20 |

selling of paragon, no way in the short term =) Singapore Press may be in focus on shopping mall expansion plan SINGAPORE (XFN-ASIA) - Singapore Press Holdings Ltd (SPH) may be in focus after the company said it plans to expand its upmarket Paragon shopping mall on Orchard Road. "Given its strong fundamentals, we are committed to holding on to Paragon for the foreseeable future," SPH chairman Tony Tan said at a shareholders' meeting yesterday. "Paragon continues to enjoy 100 pct occupancy following its redevelopment as a premium retail, office and medical complex. We will further enhance Paragon's attraction and yield by increasing its gross floor area," Tan said. He did not provide details of the expansion plan. A spokesman for SPH said the plans have not been finalized. "At this point in time, we are unable to provide you with further information on the plans for Paragon as they have not been finalized. However, we expect the increase in gross floor area to contribute to a single-digit percentage increase in Paragon's revenue," he said. |

SPH my core holding stocks, will let go till it reachs Sgd 20 or above within a few years. I consider this stock cannot be left out from any one's portfolio. (constant dividend paid out, defensive stock in nature). It goes without saying, I hold them now. |

I have been holding on to my SPH shares for a few years. It is good source of add income through dividends. :) When price go up, sit tight; when it goes down, buy more. :P |

Since 18 Aug 2006, this counter has been climbing up steadily like a mountain goat. Today the gradual uptrend is still ongoing. Those who bought in August are still smiling becoz their money is still growing. |
