Singapore’s Keppel Fels has delivered the fifth of seven Ensco 8500 series ultra-deepwater semi-submersible rigs to UK-based driller Ensco.

The Ensco 8504 will be mobilised from Singapore to Brunei to complete deep-water sea trials and final outfitting before embarking on a three well campaign for French giant Total.

The Ensco 8500 series is capable of drilling to a depth of 35,000 feet and can operate in water depths of up to 8500 feet and can be upgraded to 10,000 feet water-depth capability if required.

The remaining two rigs on order are scheduled for delivery during the first and second half of next year

On Thursday, Kepcorp re-test the support at $10.71 and closed at $10.74 with LOW volume of 4.35 million shares traded.

Three black candles occurred in the last three days. Although these candles were not big enough to create three black crows, the steady downward pattern is bearish.

Both RSI & MACD are bearish as MACD lines cross down today.

Important Resistance of Kepcorp: $10.90

SINGAPORE, Aug 4 (Reuters) - Singapore's Keppel Corp secured two contracts worth a total of S$146 million ($120.9 million) to convert a Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) unit as well as to build a mooring system for an existing FPSO unit, the company said on Thursday.

The world's largest rig-builder said the contracts were not expected to have any material impact on the net tangible assets and earnings per share of Keppel Corporation for the current financial year.

  Investors should have bought long long ago

      when it was vey very low. Only then will they

            be able to hold out the long declines.

                  Thus there's really no point to 'invest' by 

                        buying at a high price... Smiley
