1. Forex market works base on fundamental news.  You need to pay attention to next news that will be annouced.  News is used to know market direction.
2. Forex market is not irregular.  If you know the direction, you can predict where the price will go and also the momentum. 
3. Never try to imitate other's performance.  You can start from small earning. 
   Appreciate what you have, emotional detachment, develop your trading spirit.
4. Never mimic others strategy, but learn others strategy and adapt them following your habit.  If you get the understanding, you will realize that there is no strategy at all.
5. Start with 1 pairs, try major pair.  Basically, after you understand it, you can play all pairs.
6. About broker, I have used a lot of broker and I figure out that all brokers are the same.  Even though I use one ECN, I have the same policy from Market Maker.  The point is your trading management is the one that matter. 
7. One more thing, to learn forex, you need dedication.  Honestly, if you can spend time at least 3 hours a day observing forex market, you will be an expert in a month.  I say this because last month, I gave training to my niece.  She is 15 years old.  Less then 10 days, with intensive direction, she can makes 30 to 180 pips a day (no indicators/strategy involved).  In average, hers performance is 96 pips. If you want to have 10 to 30 pips a day, it will be very easy.  But if you are looking more than 30 pips, you need to be very keen and understand the market.
