scary... Poem server down, and my queue is still valid.. how can that be??? I queue SPC 4.34, and now buy price is 4.34... oh no... I hope I don't get it yet... Poem server so lousy one meh? |

Hi iPunter, You are right! Basically the price of the mother stock is the main indicator but TA can still be applied to the derivatives of the mother stock. |

Personally, since warrants take their cue from their motherstock, I'd rather chart the motherstock's progress.. :) |

Hi iPunter and giantlow, TA can be applied to everything that has(or can be assumed to have) a trend. Therefore, you can apply TA to funds, warrants, futures, stocks or any kind of derivatives. |

This is an interesting question for Singaporegal! I should think that since a particular stock' s warrant may not be as extensively traded as the underlying stock itself, thus making transaction volume correspondingly lower, and perhaps irregular, it would not work as with the stock itself. Furthermore, since a warrant comes into existence only for a specific period of time and have a prices/value that reflects the underlying value of the mother stock, it may not be of much practical use to chart the warrant's price progress. |

when oil price hit all time low 54.86 on nov 17, spc hit lowest this year @ 4.26. now oil price has recovered back to 62-63 (13%) but spc price still seems to recover too little only 2.3%...not exactly linear |

Anyway, if you want to "punt-punt" a bit, another 10c down will be better than the present price if you intend to hold it. (Ideal for CPF-type long holding). |

It's hard to talk about "good price to go in" for the simple reason that it can go either way from that suggested level. This forum is only good for gathering many ideas "from all quarters", as it were, but not too good for making money from suggestions or tips. |

Hi Shifu/veterans I was eyeing this stock too. But is this a good price to enter and keep for long term. Could u advise on the support and resistance level of this stock. Market is a bit unstable - so for long term trying to get a good px to enter leh....tks. |
