EGM on 31 Aug...likely will cross 30cts as the date draws nearer..pte placement will be decided and $1.3billion oil service contract. with First Growth Capital will be determined at EGM.Have faith in the CEO & MD. CEO Dr.Anthony,former general practioner,has shepherded successfully several start-ups to market during his years as a private equity investor.He owns 52.7% in Jade and he started a medical device and a medical portal in the mid 1990s and was bought over with handsome profits..was a director of UOB Bio Ventures and helped set up UOB Bio Fund. He also set up Asia Growth Pte Ltd and remains as chairman and MD involves in investment holding and management. In 2004 ,Dr.Soh successfully listed Cordlife ltd a co specialises in stem cell research and services in Australia and also China Medstar that specialises in cancer therapy and successfully listedon the UK's Alternative Investment Market in 2005.Dr Soh see Jade "s path to profitability lies in commodities and oil trading and expect Jade to be in the black this year. Chairman since 1996 with Jade,Brian is also a chairman of Jacuzzi Brands which makes plumbing products and NumereX Corp,a maker of communication products listed on Nasdaq.Hence Brian will provide good guidance to build >$200mil project within the Iskandar Development region in Johore, building a hospital,nursing training college,retirement resort and a hotel. Altough Jade has aborted the IT ventures, it has intended to acquire a copper mine to enhance its existing lead frame maker and Soh points out that Jade's existing leadframe maker is still a US 6 billion business globally and that there are only 10 players worldwide and Jade is one of them.Jade was previously hit by rising raw material price especail copper and the intended purchase of a coppermine in Australia or Indonesia would prevent eroding of Jade's bottomline.What a good foresight..with new management team and new ideas especially incumbent Dr.Soh..Jade will soar again Jade will be turn into an energy,commodities and real estate player.Hence its run up in share price is reasonable although analysts commented on its past losses but what the market looks for is its future potentials/investments especially with two successful giants Dr.Soh and Brian Beazer at its helm.strong buy for accumulation..may be another Keppel Corp |

Everyone of us tries to say the same thing, but in different sentences---either it will go down or go up, espicially all penny stocks,like a seasaw.As for blue chips if they go down, most of the time 100% they also go up. But in the case of penychips, its either this way or that way. All just have to wait and watch. That"s all. |

If you look deeper, entry into Jade by the BB might not be a good thing in this instance, at 7.5cts, the BBs are getting a 75% discount to market price. Assuming u enter at this level 30cts and should jade dropped till 15cts, you'll lose half yr value while OCBC and OKC still got 100% gains. Downside is very limited only to them cos what are the chances that jade will dropped to 7.5cts even in such a turbulent market?? |

Jade"s EGM on 31Aug..to decide 40mil pte placement to OCBC securities and 30mil to Ow Kim Chuan at 7.5cts and Jade is holding well at 28/29cts having tested a low of 22cts during recent sharp sell down.Unlikely U can collect <20cts and all deals with First Capital Growth9US $1.3 billion)(dtd 5july) and township development with Maxwell Rainbow Sdn Bhd (dtd 28June) are all partly owned by Dr.Soh himself..Besides Jade is 76.2% own by AP links and the free float is only about 23.8% hence Jade is a co with unlimited upside in its share's price having ever traded t a high of $1.81 and a low of 2 cts from 2002 to 2007.Good to accumulate down limited downside..wors t scenario 22cts but upside may even surpass its high of 55cts |

jade: large lots selling at 29/29.5. ceiling at 30, 30.5, 31 with 2,000 lots, 2.7k lots and 2.7k lots queuing to sell at the three prices respectively. support at 28c. a very narrow range for trading. money flow indicator shows money going out of counter. momentum peaking. temp upspike looks done for now. timewatch, the above for your consideration. :) |

You can't contra using CPFIS. BTW, only selected counters can by purchase using CPFIS. Cum dividend mean if you buy and hold the counter until XD, you get the dividend. Company declare dividend depending on their company policy and strategy. Giving dividend is to share profit with all shareholders. However, most tech company will reinvest their profit back into the company for growth, expansion or improvement in their technology. Do note that, there are reports that stated that over the long run, dividend-giving company do give higher ROI. |

Dear all, could any1 tell me regarding purchase of shares using cpf? Could i had bought jade on fri,17aug using my cpf $.However, i was told afterwhich that theres a 1 day buffer means i could not sell my jade on monday is tat true?N when i sell, whats the difference choosing CPF or Contra mode for payment? Thanks if any1 could ans my queries. |
