Baker Tech’s half-year net profit surges 233% to S$11.5 million • 1H09 Revenue increased by S$18.3 million or up 110% to S$34.9 million
• Gross Profit increased by S$11.4 million or up 184% to S$17.6 million
• Net Profit rose by S$8.1 million or 233% to S$11.5 million.
• Positive Operating Cash Flow of S$35.2 million; available cash and cash
• Annualised Return on Equity was 33.4% equivalents of S$63 million as at 30 June 2009 due to full six months recognition of Sea Deep’s performance compared to just two months in 1H08. |

Baker Tech Proxy Form...pl assist My chinese educated friend called me and said he received a proxy form from Baker Tech..likley AGM or EGFM...can anybody here who hve this share tell me wad exactly the form is about plse as I no longer have this share but my friend who stayed far away and coupled with his chinese educated background have problem telling me wad all these.thks in advance

Luck to sell all my baker 27.5 mths ago and channel fund to jade,oculus,japanland and now in Fungchoi...imagine if I stick to Baker.... Fundamentally, it has superb growth record. It has big potential since it is in the media and marketing industry. Technically, it broke a strong resistance line yesterday with high volume. Could be fully valued.besides in terms of percentage gain it's the best performing stock....just when everyone thought it will move it will not..reverse mkt psychology....even if move the most is 32cts only...switch to Chinamilk will be a better alternative..Chinamilk is going to break $1.40 by this week | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

So far we have seen many postings here based on TA. I have also read a thread for this counter in CNA Forum which has covered some background of the personalities involved. The ownership of 15% of PPL Shipyard (a subsidiary of SemCorpMarine) should give Baker Tech to have a improved stream of cashflow as dividends from the booming offshore rig building business in the coming years.Just look at the surging shareprice of SembCorp Marine and Cosco !Would appreciate if somebody could share any FA done for this counter. The Chang Family has a strong tradition in offshore engineering and therefore would have the full support of the industry network of business partners including suppliers, subcontractors and even ex- employees if they want to initiate oil rig building business using this vehicle. The start-up of Raffles Yantai in Shangdong when nobody dared to initiate any investment in marine/offshore industries in China, testify to their entreprenuerial flair. I am vested...and all of us here will hope the Directors and the Management would act quickly while all the capacities for construction of rigs are already stretched. If Labroy can make it, Baker Tech can do twice as well. I am confident that we will not be disappointed as shareholders in the near future. |

Last Friday trading Vol. is 4.7 approx. but MAV is still high at 14M. With the Star Doji hopefully reversal. Counter needs holding power to play. Adx is flat & Di starting +ve, Res $0.29, support $.024 and stop loss $0.22. |

Did I mentioned Rowsley making a strong comeback ? In fact, Baker Tech has a very similar pattern. Just that, I think Baker Tech is disguising it's accumulation process. Also, think Ban Joo will have a good chance of climbing much higher than this. |
