The benchmark S& P/ASX 200 index fell 66.4 points to 4,797.9, according to the latest available data, its lowest close in 5 weeks and tentatively breaching chart support at 4,800. New Zealand's benchmark NZX 50 index rose 0.4 percent to 3,430.1.
