BB is controlling the game now, if these shorties still don't want to buy back, it would be push even higher for them to cover. Don't forget, margin call will kick in soon, if BIG continue to rise on Monday. There is call warrent expiring on 15 Sep by DB at $0.70. DB in-house trader might be force to join in also. Cheers! |

The breakout point at 0.52 cents for Biosensors was pretty successful. The intra-day day high was 0.61, right at the 50 day mva. RSI is now about 60++, a bit on the high side, but nevertheless, a stock can remain at this levels for quite sometime. Next resistance levels are at 0.64-0.65 (small gap there), 0.67, 0.69 and 0.74. For a longer sustainable uptrend, minor corrections are better and healthier. Strong surges like what we see yesterday, is typical of Biosensors' characteristics, UNTIL real earnings come in, and then we may see a more serious and slower uptrend (or downtrend) as the case may be, depending on its fundamentals and valuation. For discussion - Not a call to buy/sell. |

Medtronic Starts U.S. Arm of Global Stent Study
Medtronic has begun enrolling patients for U.S. sites in its PROTECT study, a global trial comparing the safety of its Endeavor drug-eluting stent with Johnson & Johnson’s Cypher stent. Under way in Europe, the study will recruit a total of 8,800 patients at more than 200 medical centers globally. It will focus primarily on stent thrombosis, a rare but serious adverse event in which a blood clot forms inside the stent, which can cause a heart attack or death, Medtronic said. The trial will measure differences in the rates of stent thrombosis between the two stents with the primary endpoint being the recurrence of overall thrombosis at three years. Enrollment is expected to be complete by December. > I suspected as much when I read this headline. I knew that the only endpoint that Endeavor will & could compete againts is overall thrombosis. Because that is the only thing they can win at. The rest of the parameters, like restenosis and late lumen loss are far more inferior to Cypher. Anyway, i think the only thing that is helping Endeavor in the thrombosis aspect is the thin strut that allows proper endothelization. Just look at the lumen loss... so high value.. obviously it will cover the strut lah! |

obviously you didn't read my old post... who ask u to chase biosensor at 1.10 ? 90 cents? I only call for buy at 0.69 every single time when it dips.. only this time, it dips all the way to 0.48... and i called for cost averaging if it was 30% cheaper (warren buffet style).... and my baseline is always 0.69... why? because it u-turns more than 5 times, still need to ask why meh.. of course averaging down only work for good solid stock like biosensor, well, if u applied to centillion, eeehhmm... i have nothing to say, if u apply to wilmar, golden agriculture, SIA engineering, ST engineering, Sinotechfiber, Fiberchem, Liheng, any good solid company, of course it works.. got to study before proceed cost averaging.. and for biosensor, of course it works.

YUp... this had been discuss about the "6" weeks trending.... there is a pattern according to a BRO here who stated out but this time round i waited for 9 weeks before a spike.... so i believe this time round spike lagi higher cum longer... I really wish to see all invested for long term reap what they had sow..... Swee swee performance from BIG.... the other stock which is worth monitoring is MANHATTAN RES, low in vol but when u see the change in the vol in a trading session.. u better get some of it and u can reap more than 0.05 in a day... just my thoughts... BIG all the way.................................................. cheers

this stock is "very interesting"....since beginning of this year, there were 4 occasions (12 Feb, 25 Feb, 1 Apr, 21 May) when the volume sudden surged and the price of course also sudden shoot up. But the following trading will see a lower volume and also, will close lower than opening price. Lets see if this is going to happen again on this coming Monday. | ||||

i agree with you and i also don't agree with you. yes, agree, what goes down must go up. no, not agree, what goes down might go down, go down, go down some more, go down some more then go up. When BIG was trading at $1.40, restless buyers scared no more chance to buy so bought at $1.40. When down to $1.00, hold long term liao, so buy some to average down. When down some more to 90 cents, buy more to average down, long term what. When down some more to 70 cents, so cheap, over 50% discount, buy lagi more to average down. When down some more to 50 cents, what to do, continue to buy more lor, still cheap compared to $1.40. At lower than 50 cents, the unlucky ones sold all to cut loss. The lucky ones continue to dong and today bingo, price shot up to 60 cents
