x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	elf.. now i am looking at blue like Kep corp, F&N, SIA, seems SIA has NAV11.65, PE9.3 and yield 2.9. KepCorp NAV 2.93/PE26.5/yield 1.1, F&N nav 3.77/PE20.5/yield 2.4 all these are Jan begin price , by now all drop about 10-20 % so which one u think should collect?

Since internet is way of life, i learn to search info in quick way so that i can learn also la. These are TA by candlestick method , explained in many websites. The first day is in a downtrend with a long black body. The next day opens lower with a Doji that has a small trading range. The last day closes above the midpoint of the first day.

You are right, stock is not everything in life, there are other meanings in life, I once read that you are GA type and that explain your situation.. You are thinking so what, next few years it should be better. China, India coming stronger, Asia Stronger. If not for these strength, perhaps something worst would have happened. So may be we got to be thanksful for China and India and wish them well Wish others well too FYI , I sold off SGX too early, but now dare not buy back. Sentiment not good...

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	avenger well said, I like it, I hope to apply it to myself too.  the first thing is to be positive, that attract positive outcome. even thot at 'this time' that is paper lost or actual lost, the market is here to stay, we people are here to live, there is always opportunity again.  when we lost we learnt ourselves and become better, more careful, less greedy, and so on.  wish everyone can learn and make better decision in future. if we are stuck with holding, nevermind, hold longer term... Asia growth is positive for many years to come. Asia Pacific grow is faster and some day it will become a bigger pie in the world. Thot USA is very large, China is catching up, due to its large population, their consumption is increasing drastically, same as India... wish all to have a better future.  good luck.. more positive...cheers

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	when sentiment is like that, no good to think about share buyback.. even Citibank share buyback got back fire when their subprime woes trigger a drop of share price from high of around 56 to now 27, or about half price. they are many critics on why share buyback.. The thing is who will know share can drop like free fall... so IMO, try not to use share buyback as a logic, especially current sentiment..  In SGX listed coys, so many other example... Mr Market has his way...

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	you are comparing prices??? if this is the case, try Alexandra Hospital for Dental, so far a lot of good feedback on price as well as service.. long queue thou. that might be the reason they get a large pool of dental patience.. I ever compared prices for someone who need both extraction of wisdom teeth ( wow, all four need to extract)  as well as jaw surgery . finally decided on Alexandra. Had been happy for their services and price also.
