Frankly, they have been talking and talking venture as a more than 10 dollar stock for a long long time. Since they loss a place in STI years back, I have seldom seen them in the double digits. I would suggest you do not rely on the TP offered by these pple. And tech stock are tech stock. Take care.

Need a strong positive candlestick today to confirm the rebound for a very short term trade. As for long term trade, careful, the long term trend chart is still going down. This is in line with Venture shrink revenue growth for the past quarters including the coming one announcement. Basically, a company with reduced growth and lots of cash(fortunately it pays dividends) but do not know how to use the cash to grow the company. |

OCBC Investment Research in a June 27 research report says: " From our recent update with VMS, we gathered from management that its customers are still somewhat cautious in terms of their near-term outlook, citing the debt situation in Europe, the anemic economic recovery in the US and also mounting inflation rates in Asia. " We believe that some customers may also have been affected by the twin disasters in Japan which disrupted the global electronics supply chain. However, management added that the overall sentiment is not overly negative and many of its customers are still looking to ramp up their programs in 2H11. " We see the need to pare our forecasts for FY11, shading our revenue estimate lower by 3.1% and earnings by 6.3%. Our fair value also drops from $12.10 to $10.59, now based on 14x FY11F EPS (versus 15x previously) to reflect the more muted market sentiment. MAINTAIN BUY." |

Careful. It's already going down before the euro market opens. Late afternoon today or tomorrow will be a better time to accumulate for those who are positive on Venture. Good luck and short term - stay cautious. |

LOL, gone astray today tombalik with STI too. Bought this price ytd 8.65 before it went down the slippery slope. Thought to pick up some today if it goes down to below 8.5 but it bounce back. So ya wait no hurry ...
