I can't seem to find any info on it, though someone told me he saw in the morning mandarin News.  So if it's delisted, does Petrol China have any legal obligation to buy back retail investors' shares at $6.25 ? Thanks

Investors who have SPC shares cannot trade them on the SGX anymore. Petrol China may make a mandatory general offer to buy the remaining shares from retail investors at the price of $6.25 per share. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Petrol China agreed to buy SPC shares from Keppel Corp. at $6.25/ share. This could be due to Petrol China being bullish on the future prospects of higher oil refining margins since SPC owns 50% stake in Singapore Refining Company. It is still the investor's call whether he agrees with Petrol China on paying such high premium ($6.25/ share) for the long term earnings from SPC's oil refining and distribution business. But for all investors, this news definitely provides a boost to it's share price.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	SINGAPORE Petroleum Co has joined the rest of the oil companies in raising pump prices. SPC on Thursday upped its 92-octane petrol by four cents a litre at 10.30am this morning. Its 95 and 98 grade petrols as well as diesel went up by five cents a litre, a day after Shell, ExxonMobil and Caltex moved their rates. With the change, a litre of 92, 95 and 98-octane fuel costs $1.637, $1.677 and $1.78 before discount. The exception is Shell's 92-octane, which is costlier at $1.647 a litre before discount. Shell will be exiting the 92-octane market by end-June, despite protests from the Consumers Association of Singapore. The Anglo-Dutch group, which has the largest network of refuelling stations here after ExxonMobil, is also the only one retailing the most expensive automotive fuel here. Shell's V-Power is now priced at $1.959 a litre before discount - 20 per cent more than the cheapest petrols here. Shell said it is the least saleable fuel after its 92-octane.

AK didn't wait it hit $9. but dump all ard 8.86 while still in kampong, Msia. Now, dun hold any, but may peow d burger for a while, as too drastic move liao. May apply Commando style if need be.
