A stock may have strong management team and good fundamentals... but unfortunately its price is mainly determined by 1 thing in my humble opinion - that is market sentiment. If the market is just not interested, its hard for the stock price to improve. |

Hi jemliang_85, I suggest that before you buy a stock next time, always try to find out its average volume over the past year. (BTW, ShareJunction allows you to do this using the History tab in the stock listing). Always avoid a stock that has low volume. Anyway, I think this stock is on a gradual downtrend now. |

Hi, I bought this stock b4 the world cup at 0.60 cts. After the company announces its annual earnings few weeks ago, I have very high hopes that the price will rise to probably at least 0.70 cts judging by its earnings. Unfortunately, the price remains stagnate and the market seems to have little interest on this stock judging by its low vol. Maybe any experts here can explain to me why is it so?? I'm very puzzled seriously... |

It would be good to read the business Times every day. There was an article about 2 months back on Stamford Tyres. Business Times sometimes have write up on company that you don't find in the Straits Times. These articles are not "late news". It features on their company's plans for the future and which is essentially what we are looking before we buy the stock. The market does not bother about past good results. It always sees the future. There is one stock on Sesdaq that could potentially be a blue chip stock one day. It was featured in the Business Times some time back |
