Hi lisa, don't based your buys and sells on the "oversold" or "overbought" signs. They are just indicators. Volume for this counter very inconsistent. But if volume aside, TA shown there will be a sharp price upwards. |

CIMB says it has reduced its target price to $0.46 because of the bookstore chain's patchy record in earnings delivery. Yesterday, Popular said its net profit for its financial first quarter ended July fell to $7.02m from $9.03m yoy, dampened by the strength of the S$ against the HK$. CIMB said the first-quarter figure was 4% less than it had expected. "Growth is expected across all divisions, but we shaved our earnings-per-share forecast by 8-9% as publishing is not expected to be as sterling as hoped." CIMB said in a note to clients. " We have also reduced our e-learning contribution, given the persistent slow takeoff, which reflects the lack of a strong sales team," the note said. Even so, the brokerage is keeping its "outperform" rating because it still expects the company's earnings to grow at a CAGR of 19% in the next three years. |
