in this desert, every refreshing breeze is welcomed . i think tan kin lian is more suited to be president than an MP. He has good financial knowledge which is key to guarding the reserves and he is able to connect with the common people too. but I'll vote for him whether he stands for president or MP (Worker's Party ticket)! | ||

Interested..there's ton of news on him which require hours to read through....happy reading...Ya. needless to say, we need more of him for not only doing a good job in NTUC Income, but also outside NTUC Income...be it MP or P

we need to know more about him .... what his ideas are ... what he stands for ....how independent he is ... he needs to do the ground work ... if he demonstrates his independence and stands up for Singapore ...then we have a refreshing political climate/landscape.... -------------- (saying the above off the cuff ....haven't read the papers for the last few days ... maybe dig in later ) |

If he has got somethings to say and really want to go into politics, then he should form a political party or join one. Whether which one is better (MP or P), depends on the Individual - ie whether he wants to be actively participate in the affairs of Spore and work for the interests of the people or simply doing 'opening ceremony' and attend state functions. Ex-NTUC Income's Chief will run if he has 100,000 people willing to support him...err if he 1 2...he can have a million...that my thinking..Ya. What is your take on this and also in between whether been an MP is better or been a Singapore next coming elected president is better...?. |
