elf, mike, huatah, manikan, onesharer and cashiertan Gald to see feelings between the line. It has proven me wrong that there are still caring and sensible person on earth. Good to hear you gearing me up with courage to go on. Also the critics that I must be responsible to my own act. Yes, I'll pick up the pieces be a better person. Be wiser and money is just part of our goal. Being in the game, I must be able to withstand the ups and downs. Merry Christmas and well said elf.... a very touching passage. |

jason, i dun like to console ppl especially when the causes of the mistakes is his own fault. as a man, u should pick urself from where u fall, take the consequences by urself and learned from them. since u lost 150k, try to make back that 150k and more either thru stocks again or any means that derived from the lessons learned. |

Thanks for sharing, guys. Jasonfaxingliu: Since you are willing to pay off the losses, wonder if http://www.ncpg.org.sg/directory.html can help in negotiating a better installment plan. Try emailing? |

jasonfaxingliu, You can discuss with your broker and see how to arrange for the instalment payment. I don't think they will want you bankrupt or they may not get back the money in near term. |

I once also being sue and almost fall under chapter 11/or 12.. cant recall liao.. but life goes on.. and i have friends who become bankrupt.. and make it back after the fall.. if they can do it.. jasonfaxingliu.. u should b able to do it too.. Learn from the fall... dun make de same mistakes twice.. and u will b a better person. |

ya know, sweethearts, in all this singaporeanness of wanting money and getting caught in material desires and a general state of discontent, has anyone ever stopped to think that all this is totally unnecessary? when i was 21, i was tanned, slim, i had long hair that was streaked blond; in love with the world, and the world, with me. You think in fire then, in poetry; you are grassfire on the mountains, you think anything is possible. Only to grow up, to what? Riding cattle class every morning on the packed trains to work, to the bergen belsen of monotony, of compromises, of making do, politicking for bit crumbs of stale pies, half lives and half loves, shadows of selves, shadows of true life. Trapped in all these material desires, the ashes that qualify as maturity. Never once daring to follow your heart. Man was born of fire. Existence is ash but shouldn't life be pure fire? Shouldn't life be the hunger to live. i may be young yet (perhaps that's why i still don't know much and insist on being an idealist; or perhaps it is the fault of being one who thinks only in poetry), but i've seen things and known things. I've backpacked in laos, cambodia, indonesia, north thailand, the ghettos of the U.S.A, that so-called richest of all countries. In all of these you see the poorest of the poor, families who will sell their daughters as prostitutes and cheer the first 'sale', because they have never known any other lives. Children who will scrabble for the food we rich tourists throw away because it is 'unfit to be eaten'. I know a young girl, of creole indian and scottish blood, who's so beautiful; she has three diseases that is slowly killing her like lupus, and her twin sister is dying as well, asleep fifteen hours a day. Slow wasting death. Grew up below the poverty line with alcohol and violence. but she's so beautiful. her motto in life? live pyro. Because man was born of fire. so why are we who are healthy, with so much given, living lesser lives? Lives of compromise, of 'maturity'--which is in fact a synonym for resignation and making do; which in fact is considering too much and thinking too much, hence getting caught in indecision and fears. When all one needs to do to live is to follow one's heart. As was said in The Little Prince, "It is only with the heart that one sees rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye." Do we make mistakes? of course, we are human. What remains then is the courage to face up to one's errors, and to accept it, and move on. For those who are 'safe', not to judge, or sneer at others, or onesupmanship and such shallow competitions of 'i'm better, nyah nyah nyah', that you see all over this country. In the end what makes life is courage, and the faith of conviction. jasonfaxingliu. you've been in this dilemma for the past two months. Question well the depths and edges of your strength; what is it that shapes you as a man, what you can bear to do, what is it that needs to be done. listen to your heart. You know the answer already. And then, smile. Because life is fire. Because despite all these trials and the petty sorrows, this is only money, it is not life and death. Because life, above all, is beautiful, and you should never once believe otherwise. cheers! the lady elf |

Remisier... :) You are right... One should be as open-minded as possible and control the natural tendency to view things and others' views as being 'against' us simply because we feel it to be so. Regarding trading systems and approaches, it is even more important that it shows us how not to lose significant money, not just how to make money. The stock market is not a tame animal, so a 'fail-safe' approach is absolutely necessary if we are to avoid the rather devasting losses that we hear about ever so often. This is why I say this package is a godsend => "The Genie Tutorials" (click to see)... |

jasonfaxingliu, 150K loss without the capital is too large for me to imagine. Maybe your remisier to be blamed also for giving you such a huge limit. |

What other option I've beside getting Security company to accept installement payment? The installement plan that the Security company wanted is outside my reach. |

Manikamaniko, I'm glad that you do not interpret my question negatively. I often encounter people who prefers to interpret anything from negative point rather than taking thing in neutral stance. I believe, if the book/resource is beneficial to you and helps you to earn money, it's definitely good to share with others. Have a profitable days ahead... :) |

Remisier... :) It is a rather sad thing that over the years, I have come across countless individuals who have lost a lot of money in the stock market. For them to win back the money that they have lost is not such an easy thing to do. You can prove this by honestly asking yourself whether it is easy to make money in the stock market. The main reason they lost a lot of money is because they do not know how to play the game. They commonly treat the stock market as though they are in a casino. And the result can be easily envisaged. Thus, if there is help for this problem (and it is a problem) , why not help to spread the good word? ... |

Inflation rate in spore is now 4.5to 5%.FD deposit rate in spore is about 2 to 3%. Thus leaving money in the bank will mean it will be "eaten' up by inflation eventually.Inorder to keep pace with inflation, one has to steel themselves to invest in shares or properties.Properties are generally beyond most ppl reach, but shares can be bot with smaller losts and smaller $$$. In my opinion, good investment in shares are not that diffcult.Avoid penny shares and highly speculative counters.Sporean can go for "safety" by buying GIC or Temasek related compamies. And look for value in investing....cheap shares does not mean value. If one does not stay above inflation rate and according to reports by Australian economists, high inflation rate is here to stay for a while, then u find that ur savings will be "sinking". cheers and invest ur year end bonus wisely. |
