Hi lis_wang the free float is even lesser as U've seen my PM to U.. For safe and gradual gain..it's time to accumulate as the EGM is expected in Nov...limited downside from here but unlikley U can get at this price 89cts once the date draws nearer |

BengKuang's first half 2007 profit up 62% on improved revenue and cost control.Expects better revenue and earnings in FY 07.It is th leading provider for hullside corrosion prevention service in this region.BK is the resident provider contractor for 7 shipyards in S'pore as compared to its fragmented competitors'relationships with 1 or 2 shipyards each..In Jul 07 ,Tuas power acquired 60% of Co's subsidiary enviromental recycling firm,New Earth for 10mil.BK also won US$5.85mil contract for supply of wielding and upgrading works.earlier BK won $3.5mil contract for supply of wielding cables....good upside and the proposed 1 for 3 stocksplit on aug 6 is to increase the marketability of its shares... BK will call for EGM anymoment now don't wait till EGM by then price shot up.....and normally stocksplit and/or bonus issues are viewed favourably..accumulate as this counter is tightly held with only about less than 32mil free float...

reply to joshconsultancy...The stocksplit was proposed on Aug 6....any time from now BengKuang may call for EGM,,,3 weeks after this date the books will close..shares will normally be traded cum..but if U buy by then too late will push . $1..hence now is the time to accumulate ..thinly traded as 32mil free float only..even if drop will not be much but upward bias and support is there..i'm accumulating from 80 cts onwards |

Stockspli and bonus issue sh holders sure want..unliklely not approved..Bengkuang cam down from $1.20 before the sahrp correction...even afterv 1 for 3 still ok at theoretical price 30cts ( say 90cts / 3) |

i went to check sgx announcements. cant find the general meeting date for the approval of the share split proposal, anyone knows when it possibly would be?

anway, it is good if have share split. are there cases where proposal of share split get rejected? i jus worry the price is too high already at 89cents n then no share split possible?? |

What is the advantages for shareholders? I usually dare not buy before split or consolidation... Fear that it might drop... Is my thought correct? Any advice? Thanks

Just comfirm..1 for 3 means U get 2 moreshares after the stocksplit..ie making a total of 3 shares including yr original shares..see below |

im pretty excited about the share split., look at golden agri, when it annouced share spli, it was trading 2.28?? after split, suppose to be 1.14, now already become 1.40 because it became more affordable. so beng kuang share split, it will be good thing, price will go up |

Yeah osaka_teddy, i interpret 3-for-1 share split as 3 shares if you already have 1 share. That is, if you have 1 lot then it become 3 lots. Wonder if this is correct??? |
