What a day for EDMI, with its profit guidance and not WARNING, investors start dumping quality stock. What a good day for BB to accumulate the stock cheap, 2m share trade with a lost of 3 cents to end at 44 cents and a trading range from 40 - 44.5 cents. Yes, no doubt EDMI will see lower 1st half profit but when finalisation of orders from Thailand, Malaysia and United Kingdom come true (as it is currently being carried out), hopefully, the magnitude of the contract will blow the profit skyhigh. Happy hunting during this period of weakness. Cheers.

Edmi Limited says it has lower sales and profitability due late finalisation for orders in Thailand, Malaysia and United Kingdom. The order however is currently still being carried out. The late submission for designs and supplies also contributed to the loss and late production of phases Mk 7 and Mk 10D. Its HY 2007 revenue will be out on 13 August. From the look of things, EDMI is still OK as order is currently still in progress. A slight bump along the way but overall still fine. |

SMB has just disposed 22.5m Oculus for $8.41m with a profit of $6.38M and plan to reward its shareholder, hence breaking new heights. Will the good news flow to its subsidiary EDMI as they plan to expand its Switchgear business which is expanding. Time will tell. But got a strong hunch that EDMI will be its spring board. Definitely a positive news.
