target 0.11 when share prices move quickly to 40c.brokerage house quickly changes mind and report to target 0.37.they follow market prices than there own report.so believe their report for only 30% recommendation.now price over 0.41c and likely see more brokerage house recommend higher target price in the coming weeks like brokerage house chasing stock prices for now. |

See how flicker those researchers can be. Previously it was condemned to a TP of $0.11, worse than Phillips' 0.135. DBS Vickers (Spore) Lottvision; HOLD S$0.34 (Upgrade from FULLY VALUED) Price Target : 12-month S$ 0.37 (Prev S$ 0.11) DBSV 9 April 2007 - Lottvision Tapping on China Lottery Boom Story: Lottvision is making headway into China?s lottery market through PAL Development Ltd. (?PAL?), a JV with Melco in which it has recently increased its stake to almost 70%. Point: We believe Lottvision is well positioned to ride on China?s booming lottery market, in light of its strategic partnership with Melco and staggering connections through BTI. Nevertheless, the Chinese government?s strategy in promoting the lottery industry and success of the venue management consultancy model play critical roles in the progress of PAL. Relevance: We have raised our earnings estimates for FY08 from losses of HKD4.4m to net profit of HKD6.5m and expect quadruple increase in bottomline by FY09. Given the brighter outlook, we upgrade the stock to Hold with a raised target price of S$0.37 based on DCF valuation. |

China appears to be moving towards increasing the availability of legalised betting - and LottVision industry revolution is under way,' said Paul Gao, CEO of LottVision, which has its headquarters in Hong Kong. China's lottery market has grown 15-fold since 1997 and the company is determined to win a share of the exponential growth it believes will occur over the next few years. If LottVision succeeds, it will be the first SGX-listed firm with lottery products and consultancy as its core business. (BT) is gambling on being a winner in the new, more relaxed market. As expected, standard answers. They are not aware of the reason why the surge in price blah blah blah... Meanwhile, the counter continues to surge ahead. It closed at 34c last friday, opened strongly at 38c and never looked back. Within 10 mins, it's gone to 44.5c. (not an inducement to buy, please!) |

LottVision Deal will position LottVision to penetrate Asia?s lottery market; lottery business will become the Group?s new core business. Melco, a gaming and property investment firm, said it would sell a 29.47% stake in lottery operations system developer PAL Development to LottVision, and the latter would issue 175.80 million new shares at $0.1136 to Melco. PAL is a joint venture (?JV?) company set up by LottVision and Bright Ally (Melco's subsidiary) in September 2006, with the objective of developing and providing technology systems and services including technology outsourcing and management consulting to lottery operations in China as well as other Asian countries. Under the Shareholders? Agreement entered into between LottVision, Bright Ally and PAL on 18 August 2006, LottVision secured a 40% stake in PAL.
According to recent media reports, the fast-growing lottery industry in China alone generated ticket sales of approximately RMB 81.93 billion in 2006, an increase of almost 15% from 2005. |

Thanks Terence for the explanation re: EPS. Sometimes it takes another person to point it out something that is plain and simple. Thanks again. (you are that undergrad who is trading with your dad's account? well done!) I'm vested since 2 years back. Won't consider buying more because I am upset that the management selling their money spinning biz. Yes, I heard too that the recent run up may have something to do with their possible digital survelliance biz (which can be used in casinos). Also, since I am in it, my gut feel is that this counter has become rather speculative of late. |

Hi EastonBay, the high EPS and low PE is due to the disposal of their camera survelliance business, its a one-off gain, however, heard they are going in to China lottery biz..but not clear yet as to whether it can make big money( China alot of illegal gamblers), with the run-up in stock price, better not to enter now. |

Just found out that Lottivision's EPS is 0.461 and it's share price is at 0.19. Could this be the reason for it's recent run-up. It's PE is only 2.042. For the sake of comparison, NOL's EPS 0.329 (trading at 2.90). Lottivision has a very small mkt cap of US$53 m. Can any FA experts (like Shplayer, Victorian etc) explains what direct impact does EPS has on share price? |

lotti, sounds like Bread in Hokkien. How to make money with Loti? I am still upset with them selling off their most profitable biz. The whole biz was so promising b4 they did what they did. Needless to say, this is one stock that made me lose money. Sian. |
