xiao di, it's so scary!!! the bunnie bashed up practically everyone. eek. this bunbun not like that lah. but the clip was funny. starting my day well coz the clip made me laughed. uncle kiasu, me still in KL lah. it's ok. no more hum sap men. made frens with the bartends and they watched over me. gave me free sampling somemore. shiok! hahahaha. uncle forever. not chronicles of bunbun. it should be chronicles of elfie and her pets. let elf collect more pets (now only kitten/lion and bunnie) so that there are more adventures to tell in the story. she needs more adoptions like a pup, a pony, etc. but muz think how to include the existance of godpa, uncle kiasu, giant and other non-pets... |

Dear Ipunter, i think I know now where you are coming from: you are a Raelist? If so I have to be blunt: In the Bible, Paul warned that in the last days ?and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them? and that ?because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved,? God shall send them, ?strong delusion, that they should believe a lie? 2 Thessalonians 2:-11- The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders, and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie. Jesus Christ was not resurrected by little green men from flying saucers, he was resurrected by the supernatural power of the living God of Israel 1 Peter 1:21Through him you believe in God, who raised him from the dead and glorified him, and so your faith and hope are in God. and for forty days (Acts 1:3 After his suffering, he showed himself to these men and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God; his post-resurrected glorified body marked by his suffering (John 20:20 After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord.) was seen by men of Israel. Lastly, Adam and Eve were not created in a ET-made laboratory in the Himalayas, they were made by the supernatural power of God through his eternal Logos. John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Colosians 1:16 For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. from the dust of the ground (Genesis 2:7) which he also created, ex-nihilo, that is, ?out of nothing.? Psalm 33:6. By the word of the LORD were the heavens made, their starry host by the breath of his mouth. |

By the way, if pleasure is what you go after, I suggest you read Ayn Rand's books on Objectivism and rational self-interest. |

Asterisk... On the contrary... "BoChapism" (ie. apathy) does not lead to happiness... Conscious living does... |

By the way, a credible belief system should become truer and truer as time goes by, not the reverse!.

iPunter, The following quote is food for your thought since you are interested in the issue of life and evolution.... "I think death is a new beginning, not the end; however, we never will know if it's the end, when it's over." |

Chinkiasu... Thanks for your view of the worlreationd ... Today, there are basically 2 views of life viz... a)The supernatural view (ie. religious, creationist) b)The evolution view (incl. Darwinism) Both these views have been subject of intense debate and intellectual disagreement, and are therefore not acceptable to all.s I found that there is a third view propounded by a rather obscure 'religion' known as the Raelians, which are famous for their controversial human cloning claims some years back. While the pleasure-seeking aspect of their teachings are presently not acceptable, and downright outrageous to many, their teaching on the origin of life and humans appear to be the light at the end of the tunnel for many of other belief systems. But perhaps their influence would be a matter for more and more scientists and rational intellectuals to accept in the years or decades ahead. |

my dear Ipunter, I thot we have through this... God created every thing on earth including all living things: In Genesis 1:20,21 (New International Version) "And God said, "Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky." So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living and moving thing with which the water teems, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. God blessed them and said, "Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth." |

Chinkiasu... Talking about birds, there must be thousands and thousands of species and varieties of birds in the world.... Frankly, do you really believe that all these are the result of evolution? BaseerAhmed has touched on this when he mentioned animals previously. I think he is on the right track for deeper understanding about issues that matter in life... :) |

BaseerAhmed... :) That's not a problem at all... To me, we are all but children who age... as long as we keep our interest alive, we will definitely have the chance to catch up what we miss in our 'childhood'... provided we don't get sickly or die early. |
