deflation is almost certainly "killed" by huge amt fed is putting into d mkt, hence cash wud b "eaten" by inflation [mayb slowly then mayb faster - sooner or later]] n tis drives ppl 2 invest in shares, gold, oil, etc but whether share px increase of any particular fundamentally sound n honest company cud b faster than inflation is anybody's guess.

With high inflation expected, would it be wiser to keep shares of fundamentally sound and honest companies than cash? Can we conclude that such share px will increase fast with the higher inflation? |

but if commodities prices keep going up, like you say will make companies spend more to buy commodities, in the end companies cannot sustain up cost leads to close dw, which means less companies buying commodities in the end which eventually leads to bear in commodities market again. It goes on and on in a cycle..

If commodities prices go up with central banks printing too much money, then manufacturing plants can later just shut down because cannot afford to produce due to high material costs. So Jim Rogers may be right with all these bail out moneys that will push economies into depression.
