See how STI came soooooo close to previous high (hit 1779 only, 2 pts shy of 1781) but fail to show follow-through buying strength today? STI also tested a low when it moved to 1677 (gap support was 1681), but survived to close at 1691 (I think this was on Wed).

I hope most of the longists have taken their profits. Should see Dow pretty red tonight (unless the US window-dressers still got enuff $$$ to push).

Let's face it... the fundamentals are still bad; I think most of the rallying last few days have been mainly driven by shortists scrambling to cover plus kanchiong ppl afraid to miss the ride up. But no market chiongs forever.

For now, STI's close below 1755 is also not too good. Should see STI fall to test 1723 on Monday if Dow goes reasonably red tonight (i.e. maybe -100 max, but if Dow goes below 7700..... well...).

Prepare some puts. Or, if you failed to get out of your long positions, make sure you have solid stop losses or breakeven points to stick to.

i agree totally..we can't beat the pros at their game..gotta be nimble in this "rally"

Bottom is not here yet,  April is only round the corner, Q1 results will be out to get the small investors who are still holding on to their stocks. If someone gain others will loose, the pros will exit quicker than the amature, so BEWARE of the bulls (sh?t) about quick gain in the Bear rally, if you are not equipped and have the time to track sell and stay away until the fundamentals show signs of improvement. Invest in what you know and not what other recommends or seems popular....my 2 cents...
