Technically from a charting perspective this is a GOOD BUY not a GOOD BYE considering the lows and highs and today's price action is at a low but fundamentally I am not sure since I am not vested in this company. To me the company must be fundamentally sound before I invest so do your due diligence.

It is a breakout, uptrend. Resistance channel of triangle broken. Shows uptrend with strong vol.
Vested! Added more along the way up on momentum, don't want to miss this rally. Who knows might be $2-3 in future if economy picks up. Possible mild correction @1.6 as it is analyst's target price. My guess only.

No too sure why many broker giving low TP for this counter.

For long term, there is great potential for this counter to regain the $8.00 when

- It's revenue double and hit 4B with double digit profit margin.

- The Baltic dry index cross 10K.

So just hold tight now and ride the wave for the next 2 yrs together.

Anyway perception is a strange yet powerful thing. Just weeks ago everyone was bearish even though it was churning in +$110M annual profits and now everyone is bullish because it won 2 major contracts and BBs decide to play it up... Nothing has really changed to its business fundamentals. IT'S A GREAT COMPANY WITH SOLID MGMT AND SUPERB GROWTH PROSPECTS. SO HOLD TIGHT AND RIDE THE WAVE UP!!

Just curious, anybody know if the AGM on 20 Apr is open to shareholders?

I don't think it's important how analyst predict the market. Many times if you act according to what they say, you'll end up losing more! For me, most important is to know how to read your chart. If the analysts are right, it will reflect on the charts. My chart shows buy signal since $1.31 till now still holding tight. Congrats to those in the trade!

m puzzled by temasek not being a substantial shareholder of cosco because one of the company under its stable, sembcorp marine, own a substantial stake of close to 30% of cosco.

by rite, temasek should have a deem stake of at about 30% right, plus maybe a direct stake of about 5% held by it. Frankly, temasek is so confused that they probably dont know how much they own in their portfolio.

lets hope not that one fine day, they discover they got missing stakes dont know go where unaccountable.. never mind, just quiet you dont know, i dont know , dont talk about it, and life go on ...

0205 GMT [Dow Jones] STOCK CALL: DBS Vickers upgrades Cosco (F83.SG) to Buy from Fully Valued, raises target price to S$1.60 from S$1.00 after increasing earnings forecasts for FY10 by 7%, for FY11 by 32% to assume more order wins. Says China-based ship builder getting more enquiries on offshore projects, currently in talks for several new turnkey contracts. Notes award of US$500 million contract last month to build rig for Sevan Drilling has pushed Cosco up value chain; "we believe this serves as a harbinger for offshore contract flow for Cosco." Says Chinese rivals such as Yantai Raffles (YRSL.NO), Shanghai Zhenhua (600320.SH) yet to establish strong footing in construction of offshore projects. RSI must be overbought, and remain overbought, during a breakout one. Overbought-ness during breakout is an indication of strength, as opposed from an impending pull-back in a trading range.

If oversold, how to breakout.

Just as in breakdown, RSI will be oersold and remains oversold.
