Today ended with a Doji candlestick. A sign of probable trend reversal. Daily chart is still bullish. |

giantlow and all readers, SPC's price is closely correlated to oil prices. If you observe, oil prices fluctuates seasonnaly....Nov to Feb - winter heating, Jun to Aug - US driving season and southern hemisphere winter. Sep/Oct - hurricane season etc.... Due to these factors, there will be alot of fluctuations in SPC's price....which will be good for TA practioners. But, if you are vested for FA reasons, you may want to look at the fundementals...and disregard all the 'noises' of the 'seasonality' factors. Some fundemental parameters to consider are:
When you have analysed and ascertained the above and you decide to invest...then you can sleep peacefully despite all the roller coaster rides that SPC price goes through every year. |

Jackjames, sori abt the remark made re: Bush. I'm a democrat leaning person and like Clinton 1(not sure abt his wife though if she becomes another Pres. Clinton). My whole point is it is unlikely to recover those lost winter months. You lived there before and you would understand that. Spring will still come around 6 weeks after groundhog day. UNLESS, "day after tomorrow" like what nickyng said. |

oh yeah, EastonBay, let's don't talk about the weather, it changes without giving any signs.. I was in Michigan for 5 years, from 1999-2003. During the winter season, it can be sunshine, and snowstrom in the second days.. It is really hard to say whether this year winter is better than previous years as the winter season is not over yet.. But then, yes, compared to previous year, it is mild at this point of time, but you never know what happen tomorrow. so, you got your points too! well, I like president Bush, so... nothing can say more than that la. |

the whole world's oil demand doesn't come from USA alone. Granted, they are the major oil consumer in the world. There is Europe, esp Northern Europe, Scandinavian, East Europe with deep tradition of winter starting in Nov like Poland, Czech etc etc, it didn't arrive until last week. BTW, Okahoma is only ONE of the 50 states in USA (if you don't already know that). e.g. Washington DC, which is usually cold at this time of the year, Cherry Blosom has already happened. There are also States like Illinois, Wisconsin near the Great lake area. There are also states in the New England area like Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine etc etc. These are the ski resort area and they hardly see snow this year!!!!! Oklahoma is a southern state which typically do not get much winter. That's why a sudden snowfall and everyone panic. So, how much oil do you think a southern state need? Also, what good is there to listen to one of the most stupid president in US history. |

NO FREEZING WINTER. Of course the inventory still increasing. I have said before that winter came really very late this year. So what used to be a 4-5 months winter has been cut short to a winter that has just started like this week. (it should have started in early November). So imagine the stockpile that were not used from November. It's 2.5 months of un-used (ok over exaggeration here, little used to be exact) So unless winter stretched till June, what is not used is not used. |
