Oppsssss I was wrong... nice to be wrong sometimes though 11.5c today is collection price for BB. nice confirmation of small liftoffs. Expect rollar coast ride from now onwards. Today is day 5 of about about 30-50 days campaign... so long road ahead. min 6 - 10 weeks in total. |

Slowly ah..why so kan cheong. BB haven't collected enough yet. Price also not high enough yet to let uncle and aunties come in. This is where I really feel for them...can u imagine brokers, remisers, dealers telling uncle/aunties..4c dividend ..sure make...as it gets closer to ex-div

most of the contra players who bought last thursday and friday have to close positions today & tomorow. this is where the BB will buy over their shares and bring the price to the next level of accumulation. today's closing at 11c was strong.....gap up in the charts.. tomorow will be a new price base. |

My advice to people here thinking of achieva as a contra short term stock .. is avoid it. Very difficult to make money . It won't have the fast action.. the fast action is after the paid out date of the dividend .. that is 26th June. Why, this counter has a free float of 250m shares.......in the retail public. 1. For BBs to have effective control of the stock, they need to corner the market. In 4 trading days since the creep up from5c to 8c.... (low volume), then announcemnts, only about 60m shares traded. To effectively corner the stock, the total trading vol woul have to be easily 3 to 5X that of the free float and at a higher price. 2. Hence, it will be 0.5c action all the way to X Div. 3. The whole idea is to frustarte the uncles and auties into buying... get the sleepy 3000 over achieva small holders to sell their painful holdings of 1 lot to500 lots to unload their high price stocks to them hopefully before CD. 4. BB will gladly take the millions of dollars of dividends to lower their overall cost of share acqusition. Plus it helps there is 8.5c in the bank thereafter....then.. there is the painful 3 weeks or 15 trading days of payout... they would be collecting from the uncles and aunties who took the dividend and see no more price action....they will get fed up and sell.... 5. Only the guys who understand the financial numbers, are patient and understand the accumulation patterns and requirements of the BB will patiently wait for the big push come after the 26th June... So if anyone here thinking of making fast money here.. yes.. but only 0.5c gain and you will have to pick up.. no contras please.. U will get burnt by this stock |

Sentiment was against the coy back then.. discount rate for cash companies then was 40 to 50% so no way would the share price go up with a premium to the NTA. No matter how much CD was there... people don't buy.. only people wiht a long term view would buy it...the short term guys will avoid counters like achiever like a plague. I have achieve more than 1hr old at 12-14cents... took the divident so my net cost is now 6 to 8c... if I take the divi of 4c, my cost is 2c to 4c..... after the payout date in 26th June, Now it's a different story.. the discount is fast disappearing.. 10-20% perhaps but not much more..... they are call it the "greenshoes effect" visibility getting better... so institutional funds loading up for the big wave 3... It's a global phenonmenon.. this is where the BBs come out of their hinernation mode as they know the sentiment is now postive rather than negative for the next 2-5mths We'll building long term base for the next Big bull though now is still a bear market rally (in technical terms, we are in wave 3 for those who subscribe to Elliot wave theory).. will last for a couple of mths till I think septemebr. Basicially we've reached bottom in feb/march. ALl the seeling has been done already.... i expect them to play the counter... up so anything I sell there after my cost of 2-4c if I take the dividend becomes my bonus from the stock.. Very happy with my 1 year holding of this stock. Now is reloading time......for the long term

Not sure why it drop before the XR. Maybe sentiment is negative broadbase. In addition, this counter not much of activity for long time. Only need to selldown XX lots to drop 0.5c. As said, since the CD is out, NTA is 8.5c. If u have spare $$ then just buy in & wait for the ship to set sail. Make sure u have an exit strategy in place too.

BBs are controlling the price movement. Likely trying to dissuade those contra players. As what victorian2 mentioned, 1c a day then consolidation for the next 2-3 days. Buying into the counter is better than trying to pull a fast one out. Logically, there should be less people selling now as CD is out. |
