CNT is still green, at least till now. Hope the feel good sentiment is coming back, for the month of dec. So come on STI, we need to buy x'mas presents and give cny ang bao. |

China New Town Development Company (CNTD) announced on Friday that it has entered into an agreement to develop a 11 sq km township project in Changchun, China. CNTD will have an 80% stake in the project, Changchun New Town, while the remaining 20% will be held by the Changchun Auto Industry Development Zone Administrative Committee. Changchun New Town will comprise two sites - Site 1 which has an area of 3.0 sq km and Site II, which has an area of 8 sq km. The feasibility study for Site I has been completed while that for Site II is still underway, CNTD said. The total investment cost for Site I is estimated to be 2.5 billion yuan (S$487 million), and the initial registered capital required for the site is estimated at US$3 million, CNTD said. The project is the fourth township project in CNTD's portfolio. |
