Oh forgot to mention there is interim dividend of 7 cents per share which will be paid on 15 May 2007 as well ^^ ho-sei-liau la!!! |

Look like SPH is having a super good new for shareholders: From the SPH 1HFY 2007 Results Briefing Profit attributable to shareholders is abt S$220.3 mil, this is +20.4% compare to last yrs!!! Thnx to lower newsprint coast, revenue from Sky@eleven est exceed $650 mil, higher property yield from Paragon ^^ Tomorrow this elephant will flying high with the hot babe riding on it!!!  P.S: not too sure how would elfin / bunbun look like when they riding on the elephant? |

After reading some of the comments in this forum, it brings to my mind those snake oil salesmen. Some comments indicated that SPH is in positive ground. Well, it is quite true. The only discrepancy with these technical analysis is that politic was not factored in. By right, SPH should be rising right now given the fact that it reaped an unexpected windfall from M1, Sold out Sky eleven, print ink is heading south, property market is reaching the sky. So why SPH is not going up? Look at the Middleeast. If the Americans start the war there, crude oil will soar and all the leading stock market around the world will be heading south. Is this more reliable than those technical analysis?  |

today closes outside upper bollinger band. Expect a little pull back tmr. Moving average (7 days) crossing longer ones (14 and 50). Looks good to me. *vested* |

Hi shplayer, The actual height or value of the Chaikin or Acc/Dist doesn't mean anything. Its the trending that counts. I'm looking at this counter and I see the same things as you. Chaikin and Acc/Dist are both downtrending (not too good). But it has cut the upper bollinger band (good sign). Uncertain signals. Wait a few days for trend to clarify. |

singaporegal, What's your take on this coounter. Boll are squeezed and skimming just below the upper band. A/C high but show slight dip, Chaikin really low and RSI on up trend. Will% close to over bought.........I read all this as positive once Chaikin points upwards.....but my problem is vol not too convincing. |
