On Friday, Capitaland re-tests the resistance at $4.05 and closed at $4.05 with LOW volume of 4.25 million shares traded. A LONG white candle sticks with short upper/lower shadow indicates that investors has tried to push the prices above the $4.05 resistance. Both RSI & MACD are bullish as MACD lines just perform a “golden cross”. Important Resistance of Capitaland: $4.05 Immediate Support of Capitaland: $3.94 Currently prices are supported by technical / 20/50 days MA at $3.94. Understand that Capitaland has turn bullish recently due to the good property news from China. In fact, Capitaland has breakout of the descending triangle and tested the resistance at $4.05 with high volume on 22/Sep/10. However the attempt was a failure and ended up with a candle sticks with LONG upper shadow. Investors did not give up and resistance at $4.05 has been tested for past few days despite at LOW volume. Although Capitaland seems bullish in short term but we would like to remind that the resistance at $4.12 and $4.20 are expected to be very strong. SEE ANALYSIS FOR BROADWAY Therefore do your math first before entry since further upside of this counter is limited in short term. |

Really curious to know why this stock does not perform as compared to Keppel Land. Fortunately sold all liao above $4. Many a time tempted to pick it up again. Does anybody know the reason? Thanks.

On Wednesday, Capitaland re-test its major resistance at $4.01 and closed at $3.94 with LOW volume of 7.29 million shares traded. A LONG black candle sticks with short upper shadow indicates the profit taking from some traders since prices has issues going above $4.01. Both RSI & MACD are bearish as RSI remains trending downwards. Important Resistance of Capitaland: $4.01 Immediate Support of Capitaland: $3.91 Currently prices are supported by the technical/ 200 days MA at $3.91. From the charts, we could see that Capitaland is forming a descending triangle since Aug 2010 which is a bearish sign. SEE ANALYSIS FOR YANGZIJIANG We will watch if the support at $3.91 can hold the prices before making any trading decisions. If the support were to give way, high selling pressure will be expected. |

Fully agreed. Too pricy. April bot 3.99. Took a long time to dispose at 4.15. This counter can see cannot act. Better stay out.
