Check this out - CEO & Chairman of Aztech Michael Mun setting up a family trust to hold his current Aztech shares and warrants for his succession and future generations. I guess this indicates the amount of faith he has in Aztech's future potential to provide for his family - partially turning it into a 'family business'. My additional opinion on the stock (almost forgot to include the downside computation) - if both supports at 41.5c and 39.5c are broken downwards i.e. price goes down to 39c or below with very high volume trades thrown at 39c, impose cut loss immediately. |

Just to correct something I posted earlier in this thread, apologies if it's not directly related to Aztech.
Congress agrees to raise US credit limit
WASHINGTON - With the US government fast approaching its current US$8.965 trillion credit limit, the Senate on Thursday gave final congressional approval of an US$850 billion increase in US borrowing authority. The Senate voted 53-42 to raise the debt ceiling to US$9.815 trillion, the fifth increase in the US credit limit since President George W Bush took office in January 2001. The US House of Representatives approved the higher debt limit earlier this year as part of the overall budget resolution and the legislation now goes to Mr Bush for his signature. US Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson commended Congress for quickly passing legislation he said 'ensures the US government can deliver on promises already made'. 'The Senate's swift action on the debt limit today helps to protect the full faith and credit of the United States and avoids creating unnecessary uncertainty in the US Treasuries market,' Mr Paulson said in a statement. -- REUTERS |

Yup. It's definitely a strong support, plus all the historical trades by the company over the last 3 yrs I posted earlier. Couple that with all the BBs who bought in at 39.5c (assuming they've not taken profit yet) - double support protection. But need to be a bit patient - it tends to grow slowly till last minute, then BAM! Shoots up crazily. (Kena once before from 42c to 50c in 3 days sometime back in Apr 07). If this does blow upwards, first target should be around 46c. If vibes are still good, 48c is the 2nd target. |

Aztech bought back another 500 lots of its shares at 41.5 cents today, bringing its total numbers of shares purchased to be 3096 lots. Seems like the 41.5 cents is a good price to enter? |

TPG, why you scared, if go down then hold another 27 years la, hahaha, somemore can average down, buy more gold when it goes down. Gold got history as currency for thousands of years liao, why you scared. Stocks was an idea started by the dutch traders with only afew hundred years of history you also buy so much liao, why you fear gold right. hahaha.. Singapore dollars only 42 years history we also hold so dearly, dont worry la.. Worst come to worst can leave the gold for your heirs, xiao pek gongs.. But i still find buying actual gold better than paper gold. Do you believe the company really got so much gold in inventory? nobody knows, its just issueing of papers. I can have 100 kg of gold but issue out certificates to 1000 people at 1 kg each, Leveraging in this way, my earnings is unlimited and nobody knows until someone wants the actual gold. US dollars was started based on this similar idea, it was meant to be backed by gold and silver, like issueing papers to people that they own how much worth of gold and silver. Slowly the system was changed when they removed the peg and we have US dollars of today. |

dun wori,ryan...admin wont do anything when they hear abt gold....seems very complicated...buy fr bank expensive....they but where?i saw the gold chart...1980 price same as today price but in btween those 27 yrs gold up and down.my concern is will it go down..cos after 1980 went down drastically esp mid of 82.....wat if buy liao then trend down? |

btw, Maniam you are correct, In terms of actual value, China holds the largest amount of us debts, but in terms of per capita percentage guess who holds the highest percentage of us debts? yup, our home sweet Singapore, thats why im very scared we kena implicated by yankee dollar devaluing. |

TPG, i went bank just now but they closed liao, security guard told me monday then come back to rob as he monday no duty. his son make alot of money in stocks recently want to bring him go overseas. He also told me UOB got sell actual gold coins and bullions but they got some charges that works like spread in stocks, meaning you pay more than actual price, sell less than actual price to them. Silverwise, UOB never sell, only have savings account tied to silver value, must have at least 10 oz of silver to maintain account but I would feel safer buying real gold and silver instead of paper leh, if you want paper you would not buy gold liao right anot? might as well trade forex. btw, we talking about gold in aztech column will kena by admin anot ah? |

I remember i told u already at forum under DOW..buy the physical fr bank..buy averaging...got a feeling that a steep correction may be on the way..i hope u be able to buy at below $700..at this px do not panic.it could go further down..be assure with a weak dollar gold will be up ..and the dollar will be down for sure with every rate cut... But historically...gold stock have a beta of 1 to 3 physical gold..that is every 1 time increase in phy gold px ..stock is up 3 times...this i found to be quite true...read up on this to be assure,,to buy stock thro broker here i am not sure...cos mine i bought thro cousin in the US..he is an American...u can find out fr your broker.. |

eventually, euro will dominate.....us dollars will be like rome...but for now it will still lead...temporary....maybe they will need more inks for their printing....any idea which stock deals wif that? |

ryantka...0.25% is according to some expert not me...they say 0.5%..true enought he kan cheong faster cut 0.5% first,,but I think is much too late,,and Ben is betting that China and Japan will keep on financing them by supporting the dollar...remember they have alot of dollar...do they want to see the $ slowly depreciating...but it will come a time when ppl will say...enough is enough...this is already happening...some middle east countries already depeg their currency against the $,,and demand to be paid in euro for their oil...what's next...from 50 to 60 countries pegging their currencies to the dollar to now only 24 countries.. Was told that Singapore have alot invested in the dollars dominated ...if the dollar roasted beyond recognition ..i think even a strong currency like the sing $ will not be spare...that y i think gold....GOT GOLD. |
