Hmm interesting analysis, I am a "quarter" trader ... recently I bought some stocks which are quite dead e.g. Fabchem, Devotion and Vicplas. In fact, for Devotion and Vicplas, I have the "honour" of first trades at 10am and 2pm respectively. >> These has brought me some 20% profits in a week. Good luck |

For long-term and loyal investors, it really doesn't matter to them when the price keep on falling. Since they are staunchly 'betting' on their favourites, they will willingly hold for lengthy periods, maybe for years and . But for myself as a trader, I will feel much pain and anguish if my stock falls just a bit after I bought in... thus I will very, very promptly dump my holdings... |

Tks shplayer for pointing out. If I am not wrong, LMA recently turned around. It shd be on its road to recovery. The court battles are just foregone conclusions, except that the judiciary there is not as fast as Singapore's in dispensing justice - cahoots to our system. Look at Starcruise as an example - it has not been profitable every year, yet its price has been able to move north - the float is big and the BBs backing he counter are different.!!!! |

Since 3Q06, LMA has reported declinining YoY profit despite increasing revenues. So, unless management can resolve this issue, investors will take a cautious view of this counter. Furthermore, the long drawn patent battles in court does not really inspire investor's confidence. |

Just don't understand the mentality of some share investors. Rather than buying shares with good fundamentals, they prefer to buy those speculative ones or start chasing after any share when it starts running north. While some SJ participants have been advising that LMA is worth buying at current low prices, few seem to be buying coz' they disbelieve that it would move north. |

Hi jamsimone Your thinking is as good as mine - LMA is likely to move north more than south. Fancyjackjames and other SJ participants (since they are not buying at current prices) must be dreaming of LMA dipping all the way to 10 cents before buying them!! Or are they waiting for the analysts to recommend that LMA shares are worth buying when its price reaches 88 cents before doing so? By then, their firms would have accumulated enough of LMA shares at below 88 cents to sell at high prices to those who rely on their recommendations. |

Don't worry too much !!!!!!! LMA shares are very "resilient" - during the recent correction, its price was holding well. Wouldn't be surprised if it stages a rebound !!! |

when STI is 3800 ++ points, this counter still 0.56.. can u imagine if correction comes? this counter can lingering around 0.515- 0.54 ... if big correction comes, worst case, it can even break 0.50 barrier.. well, I would say 0.54 is a good bottom fishing, if u love it. |

Hi Manikamaniko According to Dr Chan Yan Chong, the noted Chinese-speaker from Hong Kong University, patience is needed to buy and sell shares. Hope the LMA manipulators will not DIE of starvation or are unable to make enough kopi $$$ to buy milk powder for their little ones. |

When everyone comes to knows LMA is a good share, it will take some time (may be one year) to consolidate b4 moving north very furiously It has to be furious coz' very few are prepared to sell at current low prices Don't forget - a small free float - 70 thousand lots and top twenty shareholders are NOT starving away financially - they keep them as long long long term - may be five years - investments. The present BBs or syndicates behind LMA are NOT "creative" enough in managing the counter. Hope another group (or groups) will take over due to "rotational play" (which shd come very soon?) Tks jamsimone for the effort in posting the LMA report - it bodes well for it to surge upwards - everyone comes to know abt it - that' why everyone is sitting tight on his or her investment. |

NEW FRONTIERS IN PNEUMATIC LITHOTRIPSY: THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE STONEBREAKER ®Paul Van Cangh Bernard Simon 1, Jose Salvado1, Stephan Luyckx1, Sebastien Wese1, Axel Feyaerts1,2 , Thierry Monnier2, Roberto Barreiro2, Alain Lebet21 Department of Urology, UCL Medical Faculty, Brussels, Belgium2 LMA Urology Suisse SA, Gland, SwitzerlandIntroduction armamentarium, in recognition of its great effectiveness. Amongst the drawbacks of the existing devices are the high number of shocks required to fragment the hardest stones, the propulsion effect related to the mechanical action of the probe, and the dependence on external sources of energy. We tested the ?StoneBreaker?, a new intracorporeal pneumatic lithotripter of second generation. : Pneumatic lithotripsy has gained a prominent position in the endourologistMaterial and methods: entirely self contained, independent from an external source of energy and connecting lines. A disposable highly compressed carbon dioxide gas cartridge stores enough energy for a large size calculus. The expansion chamber and the hammer have been redesigned to generate a powerful shock when the CO2 abruptly expands and forcefully project the hammer against the firing pin that transmits the energy to the probe held in close contact with the stone (see figures below). One major advantage of this device is the minimal displacement at the tip of the probe, despite the high energy of the mechanical shock. Typically, large size fragments are generated, expediting their extraction (a short video clip illustrates the procedure). The StoneBreaker® is a compact device weighing approximately 500 g,Results: failed multiple ESWL sessions (50% Calcium oxalate monohydrate and 15% cystine). All stones could be fragmented in extractable fragments, with minimal trauma to the mucosa. Complications were related to the percutaneous approach itself, and not to the fragmentation process. We treated percutaneously 56 consecutive cases of large size and hard renal calculi havingConclusion: endourological lithotripsy. Our present experience, duplicated by others, is encouraging, and further developments are already underway.

Thanks tradechancellor and jamsimone for trying to rally other SJ participants to buy LMA through their "learned" postings. Could it be that the free float of 70 million shares (only 70 thousand lots) is too small for the BBs to push up the price coz' the sky would then be the limit? It shd be pushed up in price soon coz as from 2007 its profitability shd grow many times, compared to 2005 and 2006 (especially with an expanding mkt and range of new products). Agree?. |

Just to add, in the event where both LMA and the ET can be used, LMA would be preferred. A major advantage is when a patient is conscious and pulls out the LMA, there is little or no trauma to the airway as compared to the ET. However according to my brother, LMA is not used in (1) situations where the patient is lying on his tummy (head facing downwards). This is because in the event the LMA falls out, which is not very likely anyway, it is harder to insert it back as his head is facing downwards. It is also not used (2) when artificial ventilation is needed and some (3) surgical procedures like hernia and pelvic ops. |
