Hello all, Golden Agri issued a report on 1st July 2010 that the verification exercise against the Greenpeace report is on schedule and will be announced in July. If the report is positive (as many CPO insiders expect), I hope the price will move up to 0.62 I noticed the share price has been holding up quite well last week and I noticed there are a few BBs scooping up the shares once it drops to a certain level. Anyone has the same observation? Kind of reminds me of Genting, where the share keep moving up till 1.20 steadily BEFORE the UK operations announcement. Quite jia lat. Information is power I guess and I am wondering if the big players are already aware of the investigation of Green peace accusations. Any one has any observations on this? |

Company Fundamental is good for the time being. I guess future will be good also. CPO price stable and have a bumper harvest of palm oil this year. The business majority in China which is robust growing and not much business with euro and US. TA showing uptrend which also based on some of the analysis from our buddies here. However, I have seen a lot of big trade to short this counter today and I was wondering what is happening to them. Hope they are speculator and not spoil the share price for coming days. Hope US GDP for Q1 which will be released tonight will good. This is the only share company I lost money. |

They are reaching the bottomneck I think. Actually, China and US should have to reverse the position. China should be spending more money and US should not exaggerate.

The entire market is affected by US worst than expected housing data. I feel the market is over-reacting, plus short-term traders taking profits from last 2 week's gain. This is a consolidation period. This counter still have more up side than down side.

US is spending. They are just not spending on buying houses and cars, which are the 2 main driving factors in their economy. US are spending a lot on consumer goods and entertainments, which are good for Asia. This is why US economy is lagging behind Asia economies.

Ya I agree with you not as great as some may think but still impact to STI index. In fact, US is the world largest economic contribution country about USD14,256,275mil GDP. A lot of countries are relied on it. We need them to spend more money to boost up economic. Without good economic figure how they are able to spend? |

Although US economic data is bad, however its effect over Asia is limited. This is because many institutions already know about US situation a long time back and they are more prepared for bad news as they were 2 years back. Some institutions have already move their fund out of US and into Asia. Secondly, US housing and job data is US internal affairs and pretty much contain within US economy. They are mainly indications of US recovery and have not much impact over Asia. I'm not saying that they have no impact over Asia, just that the impact is not as great as some may think.

US economic figures damn suck I believe on next 2 days the stock will remain drop due to US initial job claims + US 1Q GDP might under expectation again. Just guess ! | ||||

I meant now buy Q 0.535 while sell Q 0.54 i just remember yesterday, so many ppl buy on 0.55 while now can easily get 0.54. but i still keep lots in 0.51 average, my TP 0.6 |
