Hi everyone The heading of the release is: reduction in sales and profit for Q3 and Q4 - NOT loss. The news is NOT as bad as it is not about "loss" for Q3 & Q4. Just clarifying so as not to cause any panic for those who don't bother read the release. . Agree that no SJ participant should become personal or defensive in his or her posting. . |

U shd read the closing paragraph of LMA's release, which is reproduced below for all SJ participants who are vested in this counter: Overall, the Group is pleased with its performance in North America where sales teams continue to regain lost customer accounts, and with the performance of its Australian subsidiary LMA PacMed. The availability of the Size 5 LMA SupremeTM at the end of this year, and the completion of the restructuring of the International West Sales division, will provide a stronger platform for growth and contribute positively to the Group?s financial performance for FY2008. Not much more for LMA to dip coz' the release shd be viewed as being positive for LMA's performance since its future looks brighter. |

stock_newbie, at first i don't even know if i want to reply your question, while you only vested SGD 2750 in this counter, man, you hit the minimum charges dude.. anyway, i let you know the 2Q and 1H results first. 2 Q net income decreased 26.54%, and 1H net income decreased 23.97% compared to last year, if you ask me 3Q results, I don't know , but if you ask me full year 2007 results, I can tell you, if it can make it gain 5% full year is very good already, not need to aim so high like 2 digits gain... ( or you better hope it won't minus this year again, meaning, it must have 2 digits strong growth in 3Q and 4Q, else how to fight?..) . we have to face the truth of the company revenue and income. so, FA sounds good, err.. I also don't know how to justify.. |

err.... I once bought LMA last year at 0.63 and sold at 0.65... by counting one year returns.. err... that is -11 % "returns" for one whole year....... I am not trying to be sarcastic here.. but , that is my real experience.. I think your "returns" for LMA also very pathetic at this point of time.. hikitty, what other shares you buy instead of LMA and starcruise? Don't tell me you only buy this two counters only.. My point right here is, if I didn't let go before, I will just get stuck for one whole year, and miss the BULL RUN for other counters.. that's it. I don't even want to know if this company doing good or bad... even if the company is doing fantasticm, and don't give me the investment returns I want ( but sometiems even minus !) , what for I keep it.. in fact, I monitor this company for 1.5 years.. and what can I say.. it just keep breaking hikitty heart for 1.5 years... 1.5 years is long man ! And I respect you still can support it.. wonder how many lots you vested in , ha ha.. if I am LMA management, I will ask you to be LMA spokewoman, heee. |

Hi stock_newbie U r so smart and patient by buying LMA shares at current low prices? . Don't worry - the two staunch and vocal supporters are tradechancellor and chinkiasu must have done their homework to know the prospects of LMA. Many other SJ participants (in hiding) are "basking" in the happiness of their decision to buy LMA shares. Little drops of water, little drops of sand, make a mighty ocean and a pleasant land - don't be "paiseh" abt your purchase. For those waiting by the sides for a further pullback, hope "greed" (that it would dive further) would not stop them from buying the few lots available each day at low prices. 3rd qr results shd be released in November (usual reporting season) Hi ghlau935 Thanks for the learned opinion. Bank's fixed deposit rate, if I am not wrong, attracts about 2.5% per year. Do u think LMA's return over the next one year will be less than 2.5%? |

A very very very good counter without Bbs or Retail investors playing is also consider a dead cat........might as well buy very very very good counter that give good dividends or might as well put the money in the bank fixed deposit ........... | ||||

Hi all, felt so relieved to see so many supporters of LMA (hikitty & the rest...). Am personally vested in this counter (very small only... 5 lots @ 55 cents only... Paiseh!!) & very sad to see this counter lack in upward movements despite good fundamentals & prospects... Surely dun hope it'll continue its southward movement (if yes - TOUCHWOOD - will load up more of it to average down...) Can anyone advise when will LMA announce its Q3 results? Hopefully it will deliver much confident & astounding results this time round... UP UP LMA!!! Regards. |

Hi jackjames R u suggesting that LMA will stay submerged (like a submarine) forever? LMA is just like a submarine . It has been scouring the sea bed for "shipwreck treasures". It would surface with a rich haul soon (next year?) to benefit the patient and value investors. Earnings visibility for LMA is good with its existing patent products and range of new products. Just as a share does not remain at its peak, or "cheong" forever (e.g. Hyflux nosedived not long ago), LMA shd rocket HIGH soon !! Ha! Ha! Ha! |

Pse tell that (never fall in love with any stock) to the long-term investors. Traders are often caught "flat-footed" by BBs or FMs based on charts. They love to see investors (or short sellers) dump their shares based on charts. They will ramp them up the next moment, or the next day. It's the BBs or syndicates, NOT the "public investors" who have fallen in love with LMA by sitting tight on a "gold mine" every day. | ||||

Ten4One... :) Yea... absolutely correct there!... Never, never, never fall in love with any stock. If the charts says the beloved stock is likely to go lower, one must very quickly sell to preserve one's precious money... Unless, of course one loves to be a very long-term investor...

Can't understand why many SJ participants LOVE to buy speculative shares or those that are affected by range-bound trading. The upward potential of LMA is good, yet many prefer to buy others which have surged upward for some time. LMA is being made to sit tight by the manipulators (who are NOT "creative" in manipulating this counter) who have been, without success, trying daily to buy them at RIDICULOUSLY low prices. Hope one or more "creative" groups would take over this counter before the third quarter results are released !!!! |

hi Hikitty... just a short note to encourage you for your strong support of this thread..do not be distracted or lose heart..no worries, these little dips here there are but justs signs that some ppl are probing.. waiting too...the fundamentals are really sound for this counter it will sure rise even above their IPO..but it would be not for somewhile perhaps after November: meanwhile.I can say you are indeed the heroine of LMA .. | ||||

Hi jackjames Wow, have u been "hovering in the sky like a vulture" ready to swoop down on a "carcass" or "corpse" (if LMA ever becomes one ).? Whoever sold them at 0.555cents was just trying to "shock" other investors to follow him (or her?) - u can't teach an old horse new tricks - so that he or she (or a BB syndicate?) can buy them at lower prices later!!! No need to worry, lah - only 413 lots out of a free float of 70 thousand lots. LMA financial status has not become worse drastically , why then must there be a sudden dip. Think about it!! |

Hi manikamaniko(a punt on "money come money go" ) and shplayer Stocks, which sit tight for ages, often move north non-stop for a few months. LMA , likewise, would move north as soon as its main Danish copycat Ambu ( stalling for time by appealing against court decisions in favour of LMA) is weeded out of the mkt and made to pay damages (which shd happen by end of this year). Patience will pay for the BBs (who have been deliberately suppressing the prices so as to be able to buy at low prices) and all value investors!!! |
