hi Samson, I think you got direct translate from Chinese on the value. If so must divide value by 10. I think It should be few hundred million and for YZJ should be 180million each and 2 no 360million. Even Nimitz Class Aircraft carrier need US$1 billion to build only. Fully equiped Nimitz class costs about US$2billion. Anyway thank you for the information, we will appreciate your contribution dearly.

For 2012 turnover of $3.7 billion, EPS is 4.7 cents. price of 90 cents For 2013, 1H EPS is 0.97 cents, assume EPS of 2 cents for 2013. assuming NAV comes in at 62 cents, fair value will still be 1.3 P/B of 80 cents. current cash flow is negative 3 million dollars. To maintain 4% divdend on 80 cents, cosco need to DPU 3 cents, meaning need to payout 100% of earnings and need to take loan of over 1.5 billion dollars. total gearing / equity will increase from 220% to 270%....not including gearing for operation requirement. For 2014, assume turnover improve to USD 4 billion a year( based on $7,3 billion order book till 2015) So EPS assume 5 cents, assuming P/E 17 maintains, fair value will be 85 cents. Therefore, in view of current wave of new order , fair value for cosco will be between 80-85 cents..The important task ahead is the improve their profit margin and cash equivalent to prevent credit squeeze crisis due to their extraordinary high gearing... | ||||

hi bro, from the latest financials i saw, " As at 30 June 2013, the Group?s order book stood at US$6.7 billion with progressive deliveries up to 2015." With the additional few hundred million contracts that they secure recently, i think not yet hit USD8000 million order book, unless they did not announce those smaller contract wins.. Anyway, few years ago, their order book was about 6billion USD for a time frame of about 2-3 years.. and now the price is 80cents.. for the same 2-3 years time frame, order book at current is about USD6.7billion (for the purpose of fair comparison with same time frame, we shall exclude the latest contract wins).. assuming p/e ratio same, profit margin same, i dont see how it can goes to 2 dollar within the 2 year, since order book at current is not 2 times of the order book few years ago.. maybe 1 dollar still ok, with the slight increase in order book.. then again, high order book doesnt always mean higher profit..

yes...i am full load in this ship.. if this is not a trend reversal , i dont know what is.. the only downside I can see is macro reasons from the USA.. other than that I am quite positive.
