cng444, This counter, like most other property counters, have gone up approx 30% (about 1.40 to 1.80) since june/July. If you believe FA is good, then suggest you time your entry when the TA charts start to show a bottoming out or an uptrend. |

You are correct, TA showing downtrend.This counter quite different from others. There are three big investors supporting it. Recently Gokongwei bought 7.5 mil.at $1.80. Morgan Stanley also bought some later at higher px. Wee CY no action yet.The px not likely to go down below $1.80. and the expected good 3Q result is due soon. |

derekchong, UIC is always lagging Spore Land. Even though SLL has come down to about $8.40, the theoretical price for UIC (with SLL at this level) should be about $1.94......this again does not take into account the other factors mentioned in my earlier posts. Think pull back is due to some analysts report on SLL that is fully valued and downgraded it from BUY to HOLD. This is an FA point of view...... |

derekchong, Its a married deal....no details on price or party/ies he bought it from. I suspect JG is trying to strenghten his position. Lets wait for Wee CY's response. As JG already crossed the 30% threshhold earlier this year and he made a general takeover offer, he is not obliged to do so again. Anyone else have have an opinion on this development???? Do contribute. |
