Agree with you. I bought 3.78 in Nov. 5 lot, stop loss at 3.65 and bought back at 3.65. Today I sold at 3.88, may be a bit early. I feel profiting taking tomrow. STI breathing time. Happy new year everybody Capland holders!!!

for STI as for now breadth market start to sign a reversal, plus DOW future in red, so it will have contagion effect.

remember...market always can kill u when u r ignorance, got profit then caw...u dont know whether big transaction is really they buy and accumulate or they throwing to you...

Good example noble, i think...it seems weakness from buyer...i predict it will pullback soon

3.90 is the 100 day SMA, so maybe its good to take some profit off the table first.

CapitaLand (CAPL) announced last Friday that it would develop a second

Raffles City in the Changning district of Shanghai. We feel CAPL has

executed well by turning the project over to market expediently, recycling

capital and realizing hard cash gains. CAPL also reported last week that it

had sold 60% (132 units) of 220 units at the phase two launch of the

Beaufort, Beijing at RMB38,500 (S$7,500) ASP psm. We see little concrete

data as yet that points to a "catastrophe" scenario for the Chinese

residential property sector. Looking ahead to 2011, we stay watchful on

the future launches at CAPL's major projects such as Imperial Bay,

Hangzhou and the Paragon, Shanghai. We maintain our BUY call on the

stock with a revised $4.48 fair value estimate, at parity to RNAV

SINGAPORE, Jan 5 (Reuters) - Shares of CapitaLand , Southeast Asia's largest property developer, rose on Wednesday after it said it was open to the idea of a listing in China, where the firm's shopping mall unit plans to almost double its number of properties. CapitaMalls Asia said it hopes to have around 100 malls, up from 53 now, in China within the next three to five years, the firm said in a filing to the Singapore Stock Exchange on Tuesday.

The Business Times quoted CapitaMalls Asia chairman Liew Mun Leong as saying it is "commercially logical" for CapitaLand to consider listing its operations in China as a large part of its business is in the mainland. CapitaLand shares rose as much as 1.1 percent and CapitaMalls Asia gained as much as 1.6 percent.

At 0413 GMT, CapitaLand shares were trading at S$3.80 on a volume of 10.2 million shares. CapitaMalls Asia were last at S$1.89 with 2.5 million shares changing hands. "What's positive is the company remains committed in China and they seem to be a long-term player there, not an opportunistic investor who may have a hit-and-run strategy," said Wilson Liew, an analyst at Kim Eng.
